Wonderful speech. Just what Congress needed to hear.  I had to read it word for word before it really sunk in that this trip to Congress and this address was not about partisan politics in Mr. Netanyahu's
mind.

Obama and the Democrats turned it very political for reasons of their own. It was absolutely not a political speech. It was a sincere warning to the US of what will happen if Iran is given the road to a nuclear arsenal.

"Political" by the democrats is a distraction from the truth that was spoken.

Yep, and to think, while the Marxist was making the claim Ben was being political, the Dim party has operatives in Israel interfering with their election. :glare:

She still has tear ducts, but now when she cries, it looks she's leaking something out of the back of her head.

Pelosi's act, Matthews drivel, Obama's lies:

Quote from Chris Matthews (MSNBC):

"This man from a foreign government walked into the United States legislature and tried to take over U.S. foreign policy."REB 2
"It was a startling situation. They went into the U.S. Congress today to take over U.S. foreign policy today from the president. It's a remarkable day when the leaders of the opposition allowed this to happen."
"This was a takeover attempt by Netanyahu, with his compliant American partners, to take American foreign policy out of the hands of the American president."

I received this in an email.........

Three years after President Obama promised he would "always have  Israel's back," it's clear he meant that Israel should "watch your  back." Obama's 2012 vow was an election-year ploy that is now revealed as nakedly false. Every American President since Harry Truman has had a dust-up or two with their Israeli counterparts, but no President consistently has tilted toward Israel's enemies the way Obama has.  His apology tours to Muslim nations and his pro-Palestinian stance, especially his demand that Israel negotiate with Hamas terrorists, were foolish, but carried no lasting impact and could be seen as naive mistakes. But no such forgiving explanation is possible for Obama's six-year deferential courting of Iran's mad mullahs and his correspondingly long animosity toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Despite the many tyrants, genocidal maniacs and dimwits who lead other  nations, only Israel's leader is singled out repeatedly for Obama's wrath. This is a peculiar form of prejudice, one Obama
embraces with too much relish. The result is not a simple matter of  temporary daylight between two great allies over a principled  conflict. This is a ruthless turning on a special friend, one whose existence is threatened daily by our shared enemy of Islamic terrorism. Predictably, the White House wants to paint the tension over the Netanyahu visit as a partisan extension of Obama's war with
Republicans.

Just as predictably, some black Democrats play the race card and claim  the speech to Congress is a sign of disrespect to Obama personally. Neither passes the smell test. The only thing that matters is whether Obama's emerging deal with Iran is a death knell to Israel and a threat to Western civilization. If Obama really believes it's a good deal, he should welcome a debate over its terms. Instead, he uses artifice and threats to silence disagreement. Under any other President, it would be inconceivable that the United States of America and Iran would be united in support of a nuclear agreement that Israel sees as an existential threat.

Yet Obama is joined at the hip with a founding member of the Axis of Evil. The moment marks the ultimate demonstration of how completely he has reversed American policy. Enemies are now partners, and friends are betrayed and abandoned. Israel is not the only loser in this historic switch. Our closest Arab allies, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, are also at odds with Obama over his tilt toward Iran. Despite their societies being riven with anti-Semitism, they fear Iran more than Israel. Indeed, they have lived for generations next to an Israeli nuke, but say they cannot accept an Iranian nuke.  Those and other vulnerable Muslim nations also are alarmed at Obama's refusal to lead the fight against the spreading cancer of Islamic State.

In a development that goes largely unrecognized, each is looking to other nations — France and China mostly — for expanded trade and military supplies. In terms of advancing America's influence and national security, none of this makes a whit of sense outside the Obama bubble. But he insists the Islamic State is not Islamic and sees Iran as a potential force for "regional stability," two fantasies that no other Western authority shares. In reality, the Islamic Republic and the Islamic State have much in common, despite their sectarian divide. Iran remains the world's largest sponsor of terrorism, with proxies such as Hezbollah killing our soldiers in Lebanon and Iraq. It, too, is a theocracy bent on religious domination, yet it gets more trust and respect from this White House than our most loyal democratic ally in the Mideast.

Israel is sometimes called the 51st state — but the president's top national security adviser, Susan Rice, goes on television to insist Netanyahu's visit is "destructive" to the two nations' relationship
and Obama refuses to meet him. Even Vladimir Putin suffers no such derision. As he rains death and destruction on Ukraine and threatens NATO, John Kerry, who attacked Netanyahu in congressional testimony last week, met yesterday with the Russian foreign secretary in Switzerland. There, Putin puppet Sergei Lavrov continued to insist there are no Russian soldiers in Ukraine. Kerry offered no public criticism, only cheerful tweets about a cease-fire that Russia keeps violating.

There is some logic to the linkage of Netanyahu to Republicans, who seem to be Obama's only true enemy. Netanyahu's party is akin philosophically to the GOP, which is why he was invited to warn against the Iran deal, and he favored Mitt Romney in 2012. But that logic breaks down when you consider that Iran just last week blew up a replica of an American military ship. Two weeks earlier, demonstrators at an officially approved rally in Tehran marched in front of an Obama effigy hanging from a gallows, Fox News reports. It said the Iranians chanted, "Death to America," and, "Death to Israel," and burned and trampled an American flag. In response, our President is prepared to
allow these people to have a nuclear weapon — and demonizes Israel and anyone else who refuses to agree. Just whose side is he on?

Netanyahu Responds to Obama's Criticism of His Speech to Congress.

snip~
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday he offered a "practical alternative" to the deal being negotiated over Iran's nuclear program, after President Barack Obama criticized his address to Congress as containing "nothing new."

Obama said Netanyahu didn't offer any "viable alternative" and that "as far as I can tell, there was nothing new" in the Tuesday speech.

"In my speech before the Congress, I presented a practical alternative," Netanyahu said upon landing at Israel's Ben-Gurion Airport. He said his alternative would impose tougher restrictions on Iran's nuclear program and delay how quickly the Islamic Republic could assemble a nuclear weapon.

The prime minister said that he had received positive responses from both sides of the aisle.

"The response I received from both Democrats and Republicans was very supportive," Netanyahu said. "I got the impression that they better understand that the current proposal would lead to a bad deal and that the alternative is a better deal."

I see the White House actions as a combination of Obama character flaws and the Obama double mind with respect to Islamic jihad, complicated by this assortment of characters in the inner circle, such as Pelosi, Holder, Jarrett, and we might as well throw Boehner in as well.

When leadership and policy is forced to factor in personality or character flaws, Adolph Hitler is the poster boy, evaluating those policies becomes very difficult.  This is the message we have been getting from observers such as Charles Krauthammer, Jerome Corsi, and Sheriff Arpaio, just to name three.

Two people could grow up in environments identical to Barack's. One could turn out to be very well adjusted, loving, sober, and trusting.  Another could turn out a hate filled drug user, leftist activist and homosexual. Obviously, the twins seek entirely different friends and activities as they travel through life.

I think Prime Minister Betanyahu has read this president and concluded there is little hope, there. That didn't deter him from heaping praises on Obama, Kerry, even Reid.  The White House has its mouthpieces out on talk radio, claiming that Mr. Netanyahu deliberately insulted Barack. Ya know, you do what you gotta do.

At what point does it not become obvious that the Marxist just gave Iran the green light to finish it's program of building a nuclear arsenal?

For that reason, I hope we can keep this topic alive on the international stage. Looking at how the
matter of Islam and Jihad, it is clear the discussions are being driven by the far left.  There is no real common sense to it, other than as this dangerous political party game.

"Israel is safer today because of the interim agreement that we created. The 20 percent enriched uranium has been reduced to 0. We have stopped the centrifuge production. We are inspecting inside of their facilities. We have stopped the Iraq plutonium reactor in its tracks. Israel is safer today and that is the standard that we will apply to any agreement going forward. It is to guarantee that we will know that Iran cannot develop a nuclear weapon under the procedure that we're putting in place." – Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry on ABC's "This Week".

Agree. But I have to question the source of your article, where the headline states: "CAN BIBI JAM nOBAMA ON IRAN NUKES?  "
What is "nObama" supposed to mean, does it mean what I think it means?
