NBC Admits No Assault Rifle Used At Sandy Hook

In the school shooting, police say Lanza's rifle used numerous 30-round magazines.

How interesting though that they suddenly figured this out after Os EOs, and on the day Feinsteins gun ban proposal came out.  It gives the left a cop out, should they desire it, to ignore the gun ban, but still have "done something" with the EOs.  They used the emotional situation to get a little closer to what they want.  KWIM?

I even searched FOX and found nothing, maybe I'm getting senile, but I didn't find anything.

This is proof that the media, (NBC in particular), is completely willing to release false information to fulfill the leftist agenda.

I would suggest that congress introduce a bill that makes it a punishable offense for a news agency to release bogus information without checking the facts. Telling outright lies over the public airwaves to directly benefit an agenda and influence public opinion, should not be covered under free speech. Same as yelling fire in a crowded theater. If they want to call it news, it must be factual. If they don't have the facts, it must be presented as opinion, or not reported on.

Or................they can have it covered under free speech, but they must present the nightly news as the express opinion of NBC, (or whoever's), news outlet. If they present opinion as fact, (including Fox), they pay very stiff fines.

Obama would veto it if it made it through the senate, but he would be revealing the truth.

A video I saw of the cops opening the trunk of the car, showed them removing what appeared to be a shotgun, not even an AR

It's irrelevant in the sense that a crazy person murdered a bunch of kids, but not in it's use and manipulation by Obama and the media.

Police initially said two guns were found next to AL's body. Then magically two became four.
Initial reports (although I'm looking for it) that police found a rifle and shotgun in his trunk. Then I read there was a Video of both rifles in the trunk being unloaded. According to one observer the rifle size weapons in trunk were a shotgun on left and the AR15 on the right side of trunk.
I not quite sure what was gained by unloading them in the parking lot. Putting on the safety should have been adequate. The PO doing the unloading is wearing gloves that would likely smudge prints (if any). Ammo also could have had prints. One thing that seemed lacking was Forensic photographing of the entry into the trunk. I think more that likely the whole crime scene was a Forensic disaster.

That's exactly what I saw, that was no Ar, it was definitely a shotgun, but we know a shotgun isn't as scary as an so called assault weapon.

It's a moot point now because Fienstien is going after certain types of handguns...
