I'd also argue someone who once called Yasser Arafat a "role model", called the war on terrorism a "nuisance", voted against funding our troops, and who voted to commit troops to conflict then called it "the wrong war at the wrong time in the wrong place" is unqualified to serve in a foreign policy capacity.

Agreed.  Would he permanently lose his seat in the Senate?  He'd at least have to run again against an incumbent in 4 years after we rid ourselves of this plague in the White House, wouldn't he?

Kerry threw Medals he didn't earn over the white house fence during an anti War anti Nixon protest he organized.

Congress should symbolically wad up any paperwork associated with his nomination and treat it likewise.
