TUSTIN, Calif. (AP) -- The early morning commute was just getting under way on suburban Orange County's network of freeways when Melvin Lee Edwards pulled up to a stop sign near a busy off-ramp.
It was just after 5 a.m. Tuesday and Edwards, 69, was on his way to work when, police say, a fleeing murder suspect forced him out of his BMW at gunpoint, marched him across the street and shot him three times from behind as horrified commuters watched.
The shooting was the second of three murders in a trail of carnage early Tuesday that spanned 25 miles - but lasted just an hour. The shooter, 20-year-old Ali Syed, killed a woman in the home he shared with his parents, killed two drivers during carjackings, injured two others and shot up cars on a busy freeway interchange before committing suicide as police closed in, authorities said.

I just do no understand why these dirt bags, go through all this trouble to get away and then in the end just shot themselves. Think they should avoid all this fuss and bother and just shoot themselves. On one other point is that I best this idiot has a bunch of prior arrests where he was either let go immediately ore only got minimal punishment.

It sounds to me like he was a "student" college aged. You got to understand the mentality of these people sometimes, very emotional, irrational, tend to strike out senselessly, the least little thing sets them off...hell the whole middle east is like that.
Now dealing with the Americanized version you might be dealing with someone who was on his meds, failed a test, got dumped by his GF, can't
get a GF, any insult to him or his pride and you got a maniac on your hands.
I posted this yesterday, titled "Arab Carjacker." THAT doesn't exist. Neither is the meds thing an excuse. THAT'S a white thing. I think, when it all comes out, it'll be an act of terrorism. THAT is a Muslim thing--regardless of the race.
