Hussein extended Mueller's 10-year term by two added years. Why? Was he too good a house-pet to let go?
When I heard "Mueller" I knew it was Trump investigating the FBI, Mueller knows the "inside" and likely has many "friends" and contacts still in the bureau who will tell him where Comey buried the bones. He should subpeonea ever case file by every agent connected witht he Trump/Flynn Russia business and find out the etent of the abuse. Then start asking Questions about Seth Rich.

Have no idea, But Wasn't he a pretty good director under Bush? Could be Obama's attention was to tied up on other things like Obama care losing control of the house, Fast and furious! Maybe Holder convinced Obama it would be good optics to maintain him awhile!
The bigger Question I would have is why he picked Comey?
Just as a side note I googled the info in the OP and they are correct. His law firm handled Trumps Daughters disinvestment and business ties when she went into her job at the white house to avoid conflicts of interest and represented Manifold answering questions to the Senate committees! Not saying he is anything but honestly doing the job he was appointed to but you have to admit it sure is interesting! :popcorn: :popcorn:

If we are to go by media accounts, the probe can go in any direction it likes and is granted the authority to prosecute whomever it likes. That's OK in responsible hands, anybody ready to present an airtight case for something. With Eric the criminal Holder that wasn't so guaranteed.

If Trump did something wrong, him firing Comey because he wouldn't e his lap dog is more plausible than Trump working with Putin to throw the election and take over the universe.
The President needs to take a hard right turn. For example, in the GA-6th, Trump didn't technically endorse anyone -- not even Bruce LeVell who worked on his campaign. Instead, LeVell got demolished at .2% of the vote.

No Bench number, he was sitting in an old trench line, back against a tree.... Ft Marcy is an old civil war fort partially preserved by the Park Service. It is also a trysting place for Homosexual hook ups....according to Park Police, who saw Vince there on a regular basis..... :huh:

I'm not sure which way Mueller will go.
To me, him being a partner at WilmerHale is a red flag.
Many of the partners of that firm
are former officials of Fannie Mae, etc.
They are the
exact same people who designed and executed
the financial crisis of 2008!

Maybe Mueller will conduct an honest investigation.
Or maybe the Trump family has been trusting a backstabbing law firm

I just got reminded this morning that Mueller was the one who handled the Valerie Plame "investigation," allowing that farce to last as long as it did.
Well, expect this to wrap up about a month before the 2020 general election. Then followed by a month of hysterical reinterpretations of the nothing that was found.
