China's Premier Admits to Serious Economic Crisis, With 600 Million People Earning $140 a Month

After this year's meetings of China's rubber-stamp legislature concluded, Premier Li Keqiang revealed at a press conference that roughly 600 million Chinese citizens only earn 1,000 yuan, or roughly $140, a month.

That is not enough to pay for monthly rent on a one-bedroom apartment in a mid-sized Chinese city.

Li also admitted that the country was facing an unemployment crisis as many people have lost their jobs amid the pandemic and the country's weakening economy.

He also admitted that millions continue to live in poverty, and do not have enough to eat. Furthermore, more people are struggling as a result of the pandemic, he said.

Pompeo was on Maria Bartiromos's show this morning. First, I am glad he always refers to China as the CCP. He said hew as talking with our European allies to sever their IT relations with the CCP and it is working. At the same time Trump is encouraging American companies to return to the USA with production. Now, would the CC like to retaliate? Yes, however, they have to buy food from us. Pitting it simply, the CCP is in trouble as Solar states.

Exactly, Trump is rallying the world to abandon the Commie scum. The sooner the CCP collapses, the sooner China can finally be free of communist oppression.

China's main problem - except for their execrable political system of course - is that they really don't know how to negotiate. All they know how to do is bully. When they run into a country that can't be, or won't be, pushed around they're confused. And they don't realize their alienating all their neighbors. Their control of Tibet allows them to block all the rivers coming off the Tibetan plateau, this includes not only the rivers runing through China itself but also the rivers running through Southeast Asia) and South Asia. They're screwing with "rice bowls" of as many people as China has.

Beijing has been making plans for an air defence identification zone (ADIZ) in the South China Sea since 2010, the same year it said it was considering the introduction of similar airspace controls over the East China Sea in a move that was widely criticised around the world, a military insider said.

The proposed ADIZ encompasses the Pratas, Paracel and Spratly island chains in the disputed waterway, according to a source from the People's Liberation Army, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
The plans for the zone were as old as those for the East China Sea ADIZ – which Beijing said it was considering in 2010 and introduced in 2013 – the source said, adding that Chinese authorities were waiting for the right time to announce them.
While Beijing might have been reticent on the subject, Taiwan's defence ministry said on May 4 that it was aware of the mainland's plans.
