"Very Suspicious," "Hard To Believe": Congressional Investigators Call BS On FBI Losing Strzok-Page Texts
by Joshua Caplan
Additional text messages sent and received by disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok have been handed over to Congress, reports the Associated Press. In yet another twist to the Strzok saga, the FBI failed to hand over a block of the agent's text messages between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017 because they have gone missing.

Or did they go missing?

In addition to the communications already made public, the Justice Department on Friday provided Johnson's committee with 384 pages of text messages, according to a letter from the Wisconsin lawmaker that was obtained by The Associated Press.

But, according to the letter, the FBI told the department that its system for retaining text messages sent and received on bureau phones had failed to preserve communications between Strzok and Page over a five-month period between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017. May 17 was the date that Mueller was appointed as special counsel to oversee the Russia investigation.

According to Johnson's letter, the Bureau told Stephen Boyd, the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legislative Affairs, that due to FBI-provided Samsung 5 mobile phones with software upgrades that "conflicted," with "collection capabilities," the text messages were not recorded.

I think Trump is giving them more and more opportunities to just hang themselves for the 90th to 100th times.

I believe that he's getting word of this stuff as it's happening, or before it happens, from the white hats in the agencies.

Then he just lets them do it, lie about it, do various cover-ups, and so on.

Wherein he had them dead-to-rights before they even did it.

I think he's done this on most of their crimes, as the good guys have been feeding him intel and evidence since before he was elected.

He's just letting them run wild, and cataloguing it all.  They have nothing to lose, they are toast, so they are just piling up the crimes willy-nilly.

That's exactly how it's turning out! He allows them to investigate him and their false Russian connection claims, it's the very reason he didn't stop Meuller, he knew quite well the only dirt they'd discover would lead them to more Dim corruption.

This is what the whole Mueller 'investigation' is about, it is uncovering more Govt agency wrongdoing than anything else. Think about it.

Yep, Mueller actually exposes fraud by purposely avoiding it. Trump is no dummy, keeping Mueller on was brilliant and in the end, Mueller will hang himself over obvious obfuscation and corruption.

Why hasnt Jeff Sessions appointed a special prosecutor? The FBI has become the enforcement wing of the DNC.

Why? You do realize, a special prosecutor answers to a corrupt judicial system.
Trump is wise allowing all of this to fall under military regs., and will be prosecuted via military tribunal.
So which one would you trust more at the moment?

Per the thread I started.... how do you think the American people will view Military tribunals?   Don't get me wrong I understand the reasons for them for all that could come to pass... but it still begs the question.

Once they start seeing and hearing testimony, it will become quite clear to everyone why it was necessary, especially when the leadership of the 3 letter agencies was at the heart of the coup.

There is probably much going on we are not aware of. Trump's background is real estate deals. In many cases that means much has to go on behind the scenes before anything is made public. This is likely his MO on all this stuff.

Current FBI Chief Has Lost Texts Before

Have you ever wondered why Trump's new FBI Director, Christopher Wray, hasn't fired a single person. The top echelon of FBI management is obviously riddled with corruption. Is Wray actually doing something good and the firings will come, or has he joined the coup and is now working against the president?

Well guess what?

Wray was Chris Christie's lawyer when Christie's cell phone turned up missing during the Bridgegate scandal. Guess where it was later discovered to be? In the law firm's safe.

I would have thought an expert at computer forensics could retrieve the missing texts.

I'm almost certain they have all these texts, emails etc, they're just letting these people hang themselves in the interim.
