We do not know what is going on behind the scenes. It seems to me DOJ could get a warrant for the phone network provider for the content of the messages. There is no need to know how the company accesses the info, just the info.

This is just my opinion, of course.
But I believe they have everything they need, they're just logging activities of the players as they go about attempting to cover their tracks.
This alone indicts many of these criminals, as well as exposing "ALL" players involved as they start contacting all loose ends, and inadvertently helping snare the entire swamp of players.

It was the one thing I learned as a PI back in the day, gather all the evidence possible for a solid conviction, then drop crumbs so the perp thinks they can still cover their tracks, then track them going about hanging themselves, this makes for a solid conviction every time, leaving no wiggle room, they willingly turn on their associates.

One byproduct of this slow release will be the eventual demand by the people to the press to cover this. I guessing by the time the lsm issues the first news release, events will be flooding the airways.

The timeline of the 'missing' text messages is highly suspicious. They begin on December 14, 2016 and go through May 17, 2017 which is the same day Robert Mueller was appointed as Special Counsel.

Imagine what the 'missing' text messages say about the Trump transition period, Russia dossier, "secret society" and moments leading up to Mueller's appointment.
The most shocking thing we have found out in the new batch of text messages is there was a "secret society" of folks within the DOJ and FBI working against Trump.
