Title: Missed Opportunity
Post by: topside on February 22, 2017, 04:34:29 PM
I couldn't help but post this - I didn't find it elsewhere but it may have been mentioned already.

It's so funny and makes her sound RINO. She had a chance to say something that would have been a benefit to her audience. And she's a reporter so researches stories for a living! From what I've heard from her, I usually like what she has to say - seems pretty sharp most of the time.

Mark Levin's definition is a bit of showmanship - but portrays more of the meaning behind the term as I would use it.

She's a twit, she insulted her Conservative audience. I have no use for anything she say's, she doesn't even measure up to the failed Ann Coulter.

Who are a few folks that publish or speak and you respect? Can you name a few - maybe five? I realize that no one will be perfect - but some you consider pretty good. I'm not picking a fight - asking because I interested in finding some who are relevant and speak with conservative (in a pure-ish) form viewpoint.

Others - your input is invited too.

Thomas Sowell, Mark of course, Clarence Thomas, Mike Reagan, Taxed, myself, as per the post Taxed made of our collaborative work on, "What is a Conservative?"
Thing is, I don't need anyone to tell me what a Conservative is, I've been one all my life and knowing the difference in right and wrong without using emotion as your guide, you'll always make the right decision.

I think she's headed to the White House for a yet to be named position.

Not anyone in the media. I watch the news and pay the most attention to Fox, but no one they bring on. No political figures I know of now ... including Trump. I'm behind Trump as president, just not a believer in his philosophy for the long-term.

To be honest, I've been so buried in trying to work my career and raise my family, that I've never followed politics much. My family didn't and I really never was drawn to it. So my question to this group wasn't trying to compare, but sincerely looking for more people to look at.

There was a point when I dug in a little by myself - no peers around to discuss it much That's why I'm working this forum now. The only person I followed much was David Barton - I could really relate to him and what he had to say regarding the Constitutional history and founding values of our country really resonated with me.

Geeeze..... Solar, you gotta admit, Ann Coulter is so "cutting edge" - literally, CUTTING edge, nothing is safe around her.    :ttoung: :ttoung: :ttoung:

Tune into Mark Levin, you just might like the guy.
