Microsoft tightens the ruling clique's noose

Notorious left wing radical Bill Gates' company, Microsoft, has cooked up another scheme to further tighten the noose around all our necks.

Windows 10, which they're pushing hard by offering it for free, "fundamentally transforms" the way Windows works.

Instead of the software residing on your computer and processing your information inside your own device, it uploads all your information to Microsoft's computers in Seattle, and processes it for you there.

This is how leftists always work.  They look for choke points in every system (government, economic, financial, educational, informational, religious, etc.) to find where they can most easily seize control.  They're now doing it with our personal computers.

Windows 10 was released just two weeks ago, and "security patches" have already become necessary.

It makes me wonder how much spyware Microsoft is already putting in the "security patches" they're forcing into our computers.

Just this morning, Microsoft installed a couple of dozen of these "security patches" on me, without any displaying any pop-ups (like it's always done before) telling me that it's going to do something!  With no notice whatsoever, the computer just shut itself down and installed a bunch of new software!

You can get into your puter's operational-nexus and shut-off all updates.  Plenty of sites will show-up on search-results that explain how to do it.

Most of those updates are ridiculously trivial tweaks to Word and Office.

That's how mine is set up, but it matters not, Mocroshaft still does as it pleases, such as that annoyong Win 10 icon forcing you to either accept the upgrade or live with the open wound.
I had, what would appear to be a tight leash around it's throat, yet it still installed that shit, a POS I'll never use, because to attain it, would be a bandwidth killing download.

I loathe Microshit for pulling that crap, wish I could somehow retaliate outside of a new operating system.

Switch to Linux or uninstall win10 and go back to win 7 or 8.1. Unfortunately I cannot install linux on my tablet, but I do use it on my laptop.

I can't uninstall something I have yet to download.
My point was the anchor Win 10 icon (open wound) they forced on my computer without my permission, despite checking all boxes that control what Win is allowed to do, they still did as they please.

Linux is not compatible with 90% of games out there, which is what this computer is primarily used for, that and the forum, I have two others that take up the slack that I could install Linux, but that doesn't solve anything.

Games are a problem for Linux users.

Yeah, a huge problem.

I was going to suggest running windoze in a Virtual Machine within Linux, but the list of games that will work is limited. Some have done a dual boot with linux, then only using windows for what they can't do in Linux.

I am not a big windows fan, but I do use linux in a dual boot operation for much of what I need to do on my laptop. I was going to change completely to linux, but networking became an issue for me when I couldn't stream from my Roku 3 to the TV, so the tower will stay as a win 7 machine.

I'd probably do a dual boot, but unfortunately I have very limited bandwidth and all downloads can be an issue.
And I really don't want to pack this thing up and take it to the library for DSL speed.

Microsoft is also bugging me about converting to windows 10. I use Windows 7 and on my other machine I use Ubuntu (Linux). I also have a Mac Mini that is a spam generator.
The next worm I get on my Windows machine, I will load Linux.

Sorry to hear that. Downloading >1gb could last for hours. However you could request the dvd or have a friend do the DL and burn an iso file for you.

Library? Or have a family member that has a high speed connection do the download for you.
