Boycott ABC News and NBC News.   These outlets are acting like wholly-owned DNC subsidiaries.

Treat them as such.  Don't talk to them at all.

ABC News and NBC News are spiking the Gruber story.   CBS News is spiking the Sharyl Attkisson story.   Just like the NYT and WaPo wanted to spike the Monica Lewinsky story back in the 90s.   It is dishonesty by omission.   The tacit lie.

As the link points out, things have changed.   Big Media needs the RNC a lot more than the GOP/Tea Party needs the MSM.   Especially since the longer GOP/Tea Party bench promises an interesting primary horse race in 2016.

Priebus could earn his keep by shutting out the hostile media.   There are plenty of Internet-based plus Fox News/Glenn Beck/Rush Limbaugh outlets that mostly speak to the people the primary "horses" want to speak to anyway.

So, as the primary season gets underway, ol' Reince gets with the primary candidates and says:  "Look.   You saw the way they treated us in 2012.  Don't talk to them.   Talk to Rush and Glenn and Instapundit.   If they show me they can mend their ways (doubtful) we can always change our policy sometime in the future.  But let's face it, they want to make a Todd Akin or Richard Mourdock of you."

As the link says:  "Enough is enough."

Done and done!

I haven't watched the "news" on either of those networks since before some of the people on this forum were born!

Good for you!

Now the influence of the MSM can be further eroded by a GOP/Tea Party boycott, particularly during the mucho interesting primaries.

You can bet the farm on CBS doing the same thing as the other two.  Our local station for CBS is joined at the hip to anything Obola.  I can't watch any of these without getting sick, especially programs like Face the Nation.  Late night tv is geared towards anything Democrat, especially Letterman and now Fallon.  All the talk shows have lined up to see which one can outdo the other on having appearances on their shows of Moochelle and Obola.    I USE tv, I don't let myself be an outlet of trash news for the current administration.  There's alot we can do to set an example and what we can do is look for ways to ban any such foolishment from our lives.  Some will say this is nonsense to close ourselves off from the mainstream, that we should inform ourselves as to what's going on by watching some of this stuff.  It is impossible to avoid all of it but TV is certainly one of the things we can refuse to watch.  Let's not contribute to their ratings in a positive way and let's do that by refusing to watch the likes of the media that props up these thugs in the WH.

I have not watched msm anything for years.  I do not even watch non news programming, with the occasional sports event being the exception.

I will watch cnn a few minutes here and there, until it aggravates me!  I probably watch Fox News the most, but I don't like tv format.  Talk radio and internet are my main news sources.  The msm has been derelict in their public duty to inform un an unbiased manner.

Just wonder if networks know how many viewers they have lost in their bias quest.

Some people watch TV news, some don't.

It is a measure of the decline of network TV news to check out what A.C. Nielsen (the ratings people) have to say.

In 1968, when Uncle Walter asked "What the hell is going on?" about the Tet offensive he himself had 10 million viewers that night.   ABC and NBC had slightly less.   Roughly 30 million people out of 200 million were watching.   There was no competition.

In 2013, the TOTAL audience for ABC, CBS, and NBC combined was slightly more than 10 million in a population of 300 million.   Today, lots of competition.   If the Big three enjoyed the same dominance they had in 1968 they'd have 45 million viewers a night.   In reality they have less than a quarter of that.

Network TV news is vulnerable because it is decline.   It has always been a "loss leader" for the networks but with today's much higher costs operations will be cut back to slow the red ink.

The NYT got bought by a Mexican - Carlos Slim.

The next economic downturn (business is cyclical) might find one of these networks for sale and a motivated seller might just jump at the Koch brothers' money.

Yes, they do.  It's called ratings and it looks to me like they are in a race to see which one of them gets the lowest rating.

Not only should it be ABC and NBC news, folks should boycott those companies entirely.

When a few of their "movies" fail big time, when advertisers start pulling their ads because no one will watch programming put out by these networks.

They'll get the hint that if they keep up their shenanigans, they won't have a checkbook anymore.
