Denial is a terrible thing. That is what the RINO's are having to deal with now. I hope the conservatives press Boehner for a quick election. We do not need to put the GOP in a situation to be blamed for a government shutdown, etc;. The WH is already relishing at this development in the House.

Both McCarthy and Ellmers deny they are having an affair. Insiders claim the affair has been ongoing since 2011. McCarthy is married with two children, Ellmers is married with one child.

McCarthy's withdrawal from the race comes just after Rep. Walter Jones, (R-NC) demanded that any person running for the speaker's chair be free from "moral turpitude issues."

McCarthy's bid for the speaker's chair faltered when he let slip that the Benghazi investigation was primarily commissioned as a political hit job against Hillary Clinton. That gaffe cost him the Speaker's position, insiders tell the California Network. However, it is his affair with Ellmers that could also cost him his seat in Congress.

McCarthy is a fairly popular guy in the House and was a favorite to become Speaker; his dropping-out announcement said only that he's concluded he's not the one to "unite" the squabbling family of colicky infants that make up the Republican Party.

You have not been reading the posts, solar.  We have been talking about this all afternoon.

It's a pretty boring situation.  Looks like Boehner's back in like nothing ever happened.  And to my mind, nothing did happen.  Boehner has a meeting with the Pope.  The End.

So the RINO drops out, and voila no vote says the RINO speaker.

Anyone wanna bet we wind up with yet another RINO as speaker?

That doesn't make any sense. If McCarthy is a RINO and the Republicans are destined for a RINO then McCarthy would be the new Speaker.
