I'm not surprised. It's a bit ironic that someone touted for decades as an American hero would consistently shit of his country. Apparently this is what a "maverick" does. How this will play out is unknown. What we do know is the GOP has once again screwed over it's constituents. They raised millions off of the pledge to repeal Obamacare and they gained the majority based on that pledge.

We have three possibilities. 1) the voters hold the entire party responsible. 2) the voters only hold those that voted no responsible. 3) they don't care because the democrats are that bad.

What will happen is panic in Washington. Next years premiums will be revealed in October. Once again the democrats will be on the defensive but this time so will the republicans. In fact the GOP is in  a no win situation. Once again premiums will increase as will deductibles. More exchanges will be on the verge of collapsing and more insurance companies will want to leave the markets. Democrats will want to stabilize it with a bailout. If the GOP doesn't support that they will be blamed for allowing people to lose their coverage. If they support a bailout they will be accused of lying to their constituents. Once again The GOP screwed over the country and once again was led by McCain.
Nothing will change, in that since 2010 TEA/the  GOP base will continue to kill off the leftist movement in both party's.
Look how close the vote was, it took McStains vote for this to happen, and he won't be around much longer, regardless of the vote.

What matters most is that the GOP continues to piss off the people so much so, that our offensive continues till we steal the party from these leftists.

So no, nothing has changed, we knew this was their goal, they know we want them dead, it's just a matter of who outlives whom, and I believe we have time on our side, the Dims thought they had the nation in their hands, and look what happened to their party.

Take a deep breath folks, we're still winning the war.

After his vote last night there is no other path left except to head to single  payer for healthcare. Thanks you rotten piece of crap. But wait!!! maybe he will have an encore and sink tax cuts  so his dem friends can win easily  in 2018.
Take a Midol, change your Tampon and take a nap, let the Conservatives deal with the issue.

Still waiting for a conservative piece of legislation to get to Trump's desk. And if  im not mistaken Ryan is speaker because the freedom caucus caved and voted for him.

Matters not, after 2018 midterms, the leftist RNC/gop'E will be out of power and they won't have the votes to interfere.

Did you not notice how the gop'E couldn't pull this off without Marxist McStains one single vote?
More than likely we'll replace at a minimum, 6 leftist RNC/gop'E members come 2018, giving us a majority in the Senate, and that's assuming the Con is still Speaker, whom I doubt will still have a seat.

I don't know how it is, that you have this strange ability to ignore the beating TEA has been giving leftists in both party's since 2010 unabated, seizing more than 1000 Legislative seats from the Dims. while replacing leftists in the Pub party in the interim.

You do know this actually happened, right? Point being, nothing has changed since 2010 and will continue on long after 2018.

I know it happened and  i also know in 2006 and  2008 reps were crushed then came back in 2010. 2018 is going to be a dem sweep unless reps cut taxes.

TEA didn't come to fruition till 2010, so using any data prior to that plays absolutely no part in future forecasts.
Seriously, you're way out of your league here.

I have given you solid evidence of the TEA wave since 2010 in killing off the Dim party and enforcing the Conservative movement in the GOP, even the last few special elections where the Dim party spent (The Hill reports, The House Democrats' campaign arm is pouring another $2 million into Georgia's House special election, bringing its total spending to nearly $5 million four weeks before the election.) they didn't have, lost miserably in the Ossoff special election, In the special elections for House seats vacated by Republicans who wound up in President Donald Trump's Cabinet, Democrats went 0-for-4. And this losing record continues unabated. Yet for some magical reason, you think things are going to change?

This special election was a do or die for Dims, they claimed it would be a win and referendum against Trump, they bet the farm on Ossoff and were certain they had it in the bag. They lost miserably despite having spent more than the party could afford.

Jon Ossoff
$23.6 million Dem. 23.6 million

Karen Handel Rep $4.5

Do the math yourself, a total of 468 seats in the U.S. Congress (33 Senate seats and all 435 House seats) are up for election on November 6, 2018.
Heading into the election, the Republican Party holds a 52 seat majority in the Senate. Democrats hold 46 seats, and the remaining two are held by independents who caucus with the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party is on the defensive in 2018, as they are left defending 25 seats (two of which are held by independents), while only eight seats up for election in 2018 are held by Republican incumbents. The Democratic Party is further weakened by having to defend seats in a number of states which supported Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton in 2016.

So how in the Hell are the Dims possibly going to take over?

You're funny. You know all the facts ever posts are based on his "Feelings."
His response will be, "But the Dims will take back the Senate", yet, not once has he provided a shred of evidence how the failed Marxist Dim ideology, that Americans rejected soundly, is going to make a miracle come back in a capitalist society.

IMHO, all eyes should be on Texas.  As Texas goes, so goes the 2018 election.

Meh, writer Jim Malewitz, writes for the rag ,texasleftist.com and is a big global warming nut, so it's no surprise to find him writing a fairy tale piece on leftists making a come back.
I'm a bit surprised the Texastrib even posts his crap.

Proof?

Its pretty  much commonly  known  but here it goes anyway:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/10/21/house-freedom-caucus-to-support-paul-ryan-for-speaker.html

Paul Ryan lays out terms for speaker run

"Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan gained support from a key group Wednesday night for House speaker when a supermajority of the House Freedom Caucus announced it was backing him.
In a statement, the group said Ryan "has promised to be an ideas-focused Speaker who will advance limited government principles and devolve power to the membership."

And i know it will be hard for dems to gain the senate this time but  its  quite doable, and  in any case they basically run the senate  now.

I see you conveniently ignored my post. What is it, an allergic reaction to facts that blow your emotional posts out of the water?

Addressing your post here. You forget the conservative caucus didn't have a candidate running against Ryan at the time that could win, aside from Ryan, no one else wanted the job.
The Conservative Caucus wanted to show a united party in the face of up coming elections, so instead of presenting a divided party, they chose to unite and elected Ryan.
As if they had another option.

Point is  i was right that the freedom caucus backed Ryan and  if they hadnt Ryan wouldnt be speaker. If  i were  in AZ right  now  i would someone primaries Jeff Flake.

No, hon.  That's not proof.  Show me the roll call of the members.

Also, per your link:

QuoteIn a statement, the group said Ryan "has promised to be an ideas-focused Speaker who will advance limited government principles and devolve power to the membership."

While the group held off an official endorsement of Ryan, the announcement of support could get him to officially enter the race for House speaker, and lock down the votes to win in elections next week.

Who voted for him as speaker?  Again, please post the roll call.

Yall make this too easy. Only 9 members voted against  him on the house floor.

Dont know how big the freedom caucus  is but  i am reasonably certain the large majority ended  up voting yes.
