John McCain reportedly now has a brain tumor, following last week's surgery to remove a blood clot.

If this isn't just another stall over health care, it's surely a suspicious second case of bad health forcing him away from selling out America.

Send him to planned parenthood.  :sneaky:

Wow.  I don't like him as a Senator either, but to be elated that this has happened to him IMHO is terrible.  My prayers go out to him and his family; certainly they must be devastated.

NO!!! He's a Fuckin Traitor!

He isn't dead yet, so I have no reason to pay him any respect whatsoever, he never showed any respect for our Constitution, so why should he deserve ours now?

That's because you're a sweet lady and you seem very nice.  Me.... not so much.  I'm sort of like Dexter -- I only want bad people to go away....

Solar, I was taught and raised to turn the other cheek.  I certainly respect your feelings and obviously those feelings run deep and with reason. I was just a teeny bopper when the Vietnam war finally ended.  I had friends with older brothers who never made it home and I remember that those who made it home refused to talk about what happened in Nam.  I never even heard of McCain until he ran for president. I refused to vote for him because of his stance on illegal immigration and was ridiculed by members of the Republican club that I belonged to at the time because they felt he was the only member of the GOP that could win ... well ... that was the beginning of my realization that there were/are a whole lot of people who will vote for someone just because they have an 'R' next to their name; they are part of the problem rather than the solution.  My annoyance with RINO's continues on!

Nope, don't like his political stance one bit and feel as a politician he did more harm than good ... but ... he has a very aggressive form of brain cancer and I don't see him returning to the Senate at least for any length of time if at all.  The median survival for primary gliobastoma is typically 14 months. He has to answer for anything he may have done. I do not relish in his anguish. Having lost a father to cancer, I empathize with his family.

I knew there was something wrong with his thinking.  Not surprised.

That's the aspect that bother me. He prides himself a fighter and is vowing to continue in the Senate. Don't these guys ever figure out when it's time to usher in the next-in-line? Like him or not, it's time for McCain to head toward the sunset and let someone else come in who has the energy to work the Senate.

John ... time to step back. You've earned the rest and are ineffective in the Senate!!! You're NOT fighting your way out of a POW camp at this point - you're just hanging on. Rather,  hand the baton to someone who can better serve in the Senate. That's your duty at this point - not to keep serving with failing health. Ask yourself, are you the best man for the job in this top post in our country? Easy answer ... no! It's unethical for you to hang on to your power at this point. Do the noble thing ... work a transition and step back.
