Solar energy puts the USA at greater risk than burning clean coal. A single volcanic eruption could cause months of diminished Solar energy production, not so with Clean Coal & fossil fuels. And if we want to get into which causes greater pollution, I doubt anyone would want to live near a solar panel or battery production facility - that stuff will poison & kill you in the most agonizing way.
So, I actually agree with Elon Musk's move to CHINA - please go! Set up camp in the midst of our enemy, and kill 'em off. If they're dumb enough to finance you, all the better...
