Mark Levin is absolutely torching the media right now

Oh wow this is awesome.  I'll post the rewind link after the show, but it is so damn good.  He crafted an amazing separation between the media and Clapper/Comey.  After this show, look for Tapper, Todd, and the others to go after Clapper/Comey, and/or Clapper/Comey/Dems to go after the NY TImes, etc.

Wow wow wow.

My gut feeling ... all along!   Levin reminds me of what Drudge use to be... a whole lot smarter & funnier!
My teenage kids think he's really funny with those voices - we replay him on weekends, and listen live when we can.

It's like he's taking two pit bulls (media and intel) and throwing them in a ring together.  He's making all these guys look so bad there's no way they're going to be able to hide from it.  Todd and Tapper have shows with guests, so they can't run and hide under their desks.

The problem the dems have created is they are in a trick bag.
Its panic time.

This issue is really simple.
The error in judgment was assuming that the “leaks” would guarantee a HRC win, then they will be able to cover up the lie or lies.
(When your lies are backed by the power you set them in, it is best to keep that power.)

This whole thing is turning into interrogated suspects trying to sell a b.s. story ... they always get caught up in the lies.

Here is the crux of the lie.

They (Dems, media) sell a story that Trump people colluded with the Russians.

The much-discussed New York Times piece from January 19 is a perfect example of this.
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/19/us/politics/trump-russia-associates-investigation.html?_r=1

It begins by matter-of-factly confirming the existence of the wiretaps.

Quote
American law enforcement and intelligence agencies are examining intercepted communications and financial transactions as part of a broad investigation into possible links between Russian officials and associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump, including his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, current and former senior American officials said.

Everyone in Obama world is now swearing these (wiretaps) are a figment of Donald Trump’s imagination.

Curious people say what wiretaps?
Suddenly, the Obama people realize they can’t have the tape, transcripts, whatever legally, so they sell a second lie-that they have been investigating Trump people because of the case of them working with the Russians.

Well to do that they throw out through anonymous sources there is a legal warrant through FISA. But when pressed say there was no evidence of collusion.

Now Clapper is out there saying there was no wiretap from his agency in hopes that this helps the new narrative that Obama would not wiretap a presidential candidate.

Clapper also said:

"Obama never got approval for a wiretap and no activity was conducted."

Even if he is telling the truth and Obama never got approval, the fact remains that Obama TRIED to get approval for a wiretap. That is just as bad. Clapper is admitting that Obama tried to wiretap the opposition party during an election.
Worse than Watergate.

You’ll note he says HIS agency, not the other dozen or so that have title 3 capabilities. That’s Clapper saying dont throw me in jail!

The lies start twisting on themselves.
At this point, if I were doing the interview, I would look at my notes and say; “Let me get this straight".

"In your first story you say they were colluding."
I ask how you know this and you whisper transcripts.

I ask how you got the transcripts and suddenly it’s from a long investigation and a FISA warrant.

I ask you if you have proof of the warrant and you suddenly say there is no warrant, after claiming there was one for two weeks?

Now to justify why there was no warrant, you are saying there is no evidence of any Russian collusion...

So we are now in a place where it is one of two things:

1) You did get a warrant and spied on an American citizen without probable cause, then illegally leaked that in an effort to undermine a presidential candidate of the United States.

or

2) There never was a warrant and all of this was an elaborate ruse, ginned up by Obama loyalists and administrative State people to simply destroy a campaign in an illegal fashion.

In both scenarios I point out they are illegal.

Here’s the problem ... Trump won.

So now his people get to see everything.

The only chip you have to play is if you tell Trump who put you up to this and didnt leave his or her fingerprints on it.

Bureaucrats are cowards and do not like the idea of jail.
Most are wine swilling lawyers who like throwing their weight around.

Trump can't fold here in the tradition of .. "I wont spill your secrets if you dont spill mine” that infects DC.

They will give it up when the first perp walk is shown live on TV.

Now comey is ducking. As did Clapper. If there is no warrant or wiretap, Trump needs to prosecute.

To simplify it all ...

If they had the goods on Trump/Russians they’d be showing it.

Since they’re not showing it, they don’t have it.
If Trump and the Russians didn’t collude, how do they know?
Because they illegally spied on Trump and didn’t find anything.

Here is the other problem folks with ripping this thing open. These bastards embedded in the Govt have plenty of time to warm up the shredders for an all night party. I'm thinking right now nobody wants any of the morass of paperwork that exists in this case to come to light if their name is on it. They can hear the jails doors slamming.

They'll be worse off, if they can't produce the paperwork. If you have no signed permission, then the question becomes who told you to do it. It's either that, or you did it on your own - which is even worse. So even if they're holding shredder parties, anyone with a brain is keeping copies - just in case. Remember John Dean. Taxed, you forgot to also mention Stetler who refuses to believe FISA reports that the NYT and other media outlets have reported.

But dont you know, Mark really is just some right wing conspiracy theorist nutjob.

I was going to post the following ...

Well, Hell, I am going to post it even though it might be useless after the comments below it!

There are Only two ways a citizens communications can be intercepted:

A title 3 warrant which is a criminal inquiry

A fisa warrant which is an intelligence inquiry

Trump would now have access to the paper trail that either of these warrants would leave behind!

If there is no paper trail that would mean that the papers were shredded (felony) or that there Were No warrants .. also a felony!
================

I have since noticed a slight twisting to the whole wire tapping story!

It is being said by surveillance experts there were a myriad other routes officials have to get at the banter inside Trump Tower.

Through routine data collection programs authorized under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, the government gathers information from the internet backbone, which carries web browsing histories and a rapidly increasing amount of telephone traffic.

US intelligence agencies routinely capture communications of senior foreign officials, including those based in the US, other intelligence officials said.

The Wall Street Journal was first to report that investigators had looked at the calls. Among the communications being scrutinized are calls between Russia’s ambassador, Sergey Kislyak, and Flynn on December 29.

The calls came on the same day the US announced further sanctions against Russia and expelled a group of 35 Russian diplomats the US had accused of spying.

As I said, my post may have been meaningless!

I'd say based on the article, they were definitely spying on Trump, but claim it wasn't targeted at Trump?
