I have noticed that the mass shootings seem to happen in 'Gun Free Zones'.

Adding another thought.  Every time I have to go to our local hospital, I see the sign on the door saying "No Concealed Weapons Permitted" and I think that if it's properly concealed, they will never know that you have it.

Also, this was today's cartoon, so I suspect that it was drawn as a response to Orlando rather than Dallas.
