They just don't get the American way, in that we have a can do attitude, not the gloom and doom they have come to expect from this administration.

NBC's Willie Geist, substitute hosting for Matt Lauer on Friday's Today show, invited on CNBC's Maria Bartiromo to talk about the new jobs report and the two had a startling message for those in its audience who may be unemployed right now - just get "used to it." Geist, citing the liberal economist Joseph Stiglitz, asked the CNBC anchor if "higher unemployment may just be the new normal in this country. Do you agree with that? We just have to get used to this?" Bartiromo, eschewing any sort of American "can do" optimism, actually agreed as she responded: "Well I definitely think we are in a new normal. I think you have to have expectations of much lower growth levels in the United States, relative to the rest of the world." Bartiromo added that business aren't likely to hire in 2011 because they are expecting higher health care expenses, expecting higher taxes" but didn't blame Obama administration policies for those fears.

Why? Why does it have to be like that? Bollocks. She listed why this is the case but it doesn't dawn on these clowns that removing the reason for high unemployment fixes the problem?

Here's what's going to happen. The Republicans will come into power and they will basically pull Obama's teeth. We maybe not be able to repeal everything just yet, but by having the house we can stop the bleeding.

The markets hate uncertainty. Uncertainty about tax rates. Uncertainty about healthcare costs. Uncertainty about energy costs. Just the certainty of gridlock will spark investment dollars that Obama has forced to the sidelines and this will have a strongly stimulative effect by next summer at the latest. Then when we kick Obama's sorry ass out in 2012 then we can really cut the size of government and get some business friendly lawmakers in DC. Then you will see the economy boom.

The current recession is made much worse by Obama's desire to keep repeatedly kicking the business community in the crotch until it turns blue and passes out. Get the anti-business people out of power and then things will take care of themselves.

Funny isn't it, they had total control for two years and the economy is by far worse of.
They simply don't have the intellect to understand, that it is liberalism that is causing this.

In two months the economy will start to turn around, only because the people have lost faith in the Dims, so as soon as they are out of power, by their absence alone, the Country will breathe a sigh of relief and start moving again.

Excellent point Bert, if, like you say, was all part of the plan, then why is additional money needed?
It would appear they accomplished, what they set out to do, destroy the economy, additional money would do nothing but further aggravate inflation, in turn extend job loss.
