You guys rock

While reading this thread, It reminds me of the 45 goals of Communism, as published in a book called "The Naked Communist" and the USSR's infiltration into all of our institutions during the early/mid parts of the 1900's.  The KGB spent a great deal of effort here on a program they called "Demoralization" which is a kind of psychological warfare.

This is how I view the points made here regarding liberalism, humanism, etc.  It's been an evolution of sorts from those earlier days of progressivism.  Marx considered liberalism as the pathway to his idealistic goal of communism, but history has taught us where that leads.  Unfortunately,  there are too many mush heads out there now, that don't have a clue about history or what's been happening to them.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

I think, based on midterm turnout, most figured out just how big a Marxist he is.

The regular forays by communism, against America, is pretty interesting.

Even though the recent movie was mostly about maligning J. Edgar Hoover as gay (or maybe to celebrate the gay lol), it did accidentally show that at the beginning of his career, he was instrumental in defeating a communist/ terrorist campaign in the 30's.  They actually had these shitheads from europe bombing and assassinating people in the US.  Seems like they were probing the weakness of post-depression America.

Then of course, in the weakness and disarray of the 50's, post WW2, we had the next great salvo.  Turned back by none other than the great American Joseph McCarthy.  Without him we probably lose the cold war before Vietnam even takes place.

Then of course the 70's.  They were thick as fleas on rats on turds, during the upheaval there.

And now again, when we're hobbled by a piece of garbage like Obama.

It's amazing that the US continues to persevere despite the nearly every-other-decade offensives.  I think we just missed one in the 90's thanks to Reagan and the Bushes.

I hope and pray you're correct. I fear you are not.

We all celebrated in much the same way after 2010. Two years later, the Worst President In My LifetimeTM was elected for a second term in office. By comparison, the Second Worst President In My LifetimeTM, James Earl Carter, Jr. was tossed out in 1980 after one miserable term and the Third Worst President In My LifetimeTM, Lyndon Baines Johnson, wisely declined to subject himself to a world-class thrashing in 1968.

What has happened in the 34 years since Ronald Reagan was first elected is, I think, the result of decades, even generations, of concerted, planned subversion of the public education system, along with the vast majority of the private secondary and higher education establishments that depend, wholly or heavily, on the milk of Uncle Sam's kindness for survival. Our school systems, large and small, are cranking out semi-literate boobs, barely able to read, with the attention spans of puppies, steeped in lib/prog propaganda, ignorant by design of the essential concepts of self-government, and completely ready to latch on to the national government tit. Most of the "adults" turned out by high schools these days are, thanks to the 26th Amendment, eligible to vote before they even get their worthless diplomas.

You may say I seem a little bummed out about the state of affairs. Maybe. But I'm hopeful. That's mainly because the truth of matters has a way of coming out eventually. Government based on lies (what we have now) has a way of yielding to the demands of the people for more honest government. I take pride in the fact that objective truth is, in the end, on our side as conservatives.

But I think what gives me the most faith in the future is an abiding belief in the fundamental goodness of people. Right now, we have a president who was elected twice for a host of very bad reasons. He was, and is, unqualified and undeserving of the office in every respect, and has predictably erred in almost every endeavor. I'm not saying he's evil; I don't think he's deep enough to be truly evil. But I do think he's a product of the education system I described above, as were the majority of his voters.

^all good observations.  Reagan was a Democrat when he was President of the screen actors guild.  He saw up close the infiltration into Hollywood and testified at the Un-American Activities hearings.

I view progressivism, socialism, and Marxism all branches of the same tree of communism. Maybe that's too simplistic, but it's how I keep it all straight in my way of thinking.  I realize this has all ebbed and flowed over the decades, but with each subtle change or renaming, it still has the same outcome at the heart of it.  An all powerful government, with the destruction of the free market, turning us into serfs.

The ACLU was started by communists. Have they really changed their goals or tactics?  They may feign "civil rights" but have done more damage towards religion than any other group.  That alone was a communist goal and part of the KGB's plan to demoralize a nation, by using our own laws to userp the position of the church in our society.  Hence we've been losing our traditions and family values through abortion, easy divorce, acceptance of unwed mothers as mainstream, fathers replaced by government and men hated by wacked out feminists. The "me" generation replaced the "can do" generation with a lot of irresponsible, entitled, self centered and drug addicted zombie kids who need a village to raise their kids and take care of them from cradle to grave.

Thanks Solar I agree with everything you said. It wasn't a quote it was myself stating that the dims had it backwards about all of us belonging to the government. The Government under it's founding was supposed to belong to the people. Whew are we not miles from there now.
There is no "supposed" about it. Government, in the U.S. that is, belongs to the States, and the people respectively.

With the ultimate political authority being rested with the adult citizen's of the United States. Nothing, not even Obammy's election and subsequent attacks upon our Constitution and the limit's it places upon the Federal Government, has changed that.

They wouldn't have none of that Dori when Bachman wanted Pelosi and that bunch brought forth.

My how our country has changed for the worse over the years. The people that should be swinging are now running the show.

I hate the phrase "the devil made me do it".

The devil never made anyone do anything, that's not how he works. Satan (at least the Satan of the Holy Bible that is) tempts, and lets you do it all of your own accord.

Tbone Obama stole that election and now we now know how. He targeted Tea and other conservative groups to supress the vote using the IRS and other multiple gov agencies and also ginned up hate among his base with is envy inspired get even rethoric. Hate the rich is a dog whistle for the left in it's true translation it means: "Hate the whites".

Who do you think most the rich people are? It's called division capital.

I worry about you, son, when I read phrases like, "now we now know how." Did you have a box of O's and W's that were approaching their "use by" dates?  :tounge:

Of course the Dems stole 2012. That's what Dems do. Here in Ohio, some Cleveland precincts reported turnout as high as 108% (!) and dozens reported 100% vote for the Kenyan. Similar results came from some precincts in Cincinnati. Melowese Richardson, a Cincy poll worker (!) gained national recognition as an overly active voter who went to prison defending her multiple votes for the Kenyan as righteous. Not satisfied with merely voting twice in her own name, she just knew that a number of her relatives would want to cast their votes for the Kenyan. Even her niece, who had been in a coma for more than a decade, would have cast her vote for the Kenyan, she thought. (I am sad to admit that she is probably correct in that presumption, though that hardly grants Richardson the right to vote for her comatose niece or any other relative.)

I enjoy taunting Dems to produce a single recent example of voter fraud that involves a Pub. (There aren't any.)

There can be little doubt that Democrats share certain characteristics that cause them to easy prey for Marxists, Moslems, and other authoritarian charlatans, who specialize in leading them by the nose to subservience, obedience, and submission. If this country were to ever become run by Democrats, the entire nation would resemble Cook County, the South Side. Note that even organized crime finds the heavily Democratic areas are the best markets for what they have to sell, everything from sports betting to addictive narcotics.

For most Democrats, the defining common experience is high school.  Most people don't define themselves as "just like everyone else," until they have had life experiences, education, or training at some personal sacrifice to their own whims. As people become skilled, they likely develop an identity. Democrats are content to go along, expending as little effort as possible.

Once adult life starts to sink in, the folly of the easy way begins to sink in. That is when Democrats realize they can band together and vote themselves what they have been unable to obtain by  effort. That includes
food, utilities, housing.

I have noticed Democrats are unable to simply sit back and enjoy what others have created. That has become a passion. If they are at a show, they feel compelled to interject, to make comments, or to get up and start waving their bodies around. Should they land a job, their first thought is to join a union and tell the company the way it is going to be. They see nothing unusual about this. Government is the perfect ploy. Hiding behind government rules and regulations, Democrats are able to rule the sectors by executive order. This is a dream come true for a Democrat.

I don't know if it is demonic possession.  That is a pretty strong diagnosis.  What looks like demonic possession may be more likely simply clever psychology, Marxism.

And these idiots continue to not notice that the upper crust of socialism, communism, or islam.....live just like the upper crust of capitalism.

They just have no laws that keep them from murdering whomever and however many they feel like, and stealing everything for themselves for the next 10 generations.  And overrunning all their smaller neighbors, just like the evil colonialists.

Such stunning brilliance by the liberals.
