Trump has been POTUS for over a yr now yet everyday I hear on the local LSM a leak has informed us of this or that. DAILY nearly.
When doe he start banning people (anyone, senator, congressman, etc.) from the meetings or conferences, it can't be very hard to figure out who is leaking info! When they are not allowed in just let the media they are leakers.

Or is it all part of a bigger plan? Let your enemy trap themselves...

I dont know, but it seems that there is much less leeking today then there was this time last year. I think at first trump used establishment recommendations to fill his white house, but then the rinos still didnt play nice. Well now they need him for the midterms so he is using this opportunity to replace some rinos around him with ppl he trusts. I expect the unintended leeking to slow down even more.

How do you ban or fire someone for leaking when you don't now who it is?

Why is anything uttered to many, rather than to a minimum of, ideally, one?
Because Trump does not appreciate the discretion which binds both utterer and listener(s).
Consequently Trump, despite his positives, is unable to control his impulse to run off at mouth, as his tweets affirm; while he remains the catalyst for the entire process of leaks.

Trumps tweets, as well as his presidency to date, show he is a thoughtfull genius and mastermind. Sure he will stop the leaks but in the mean time he is using them to destroy the LSM. The tweets have been a huge success so far and will pave the way for future presidents. Trump doesnt say anything without purpose.

But not by much.

Trump is so successful in general that it is hard to point to any one success and say it is purely a result of the tweets. However, i wld point to how crazed and violent the left becomes at everything he says. His tweets rile them up so much they get thrown off their game. Look at all the stuff he is actually acomplishing (blowing up obumer legacy) and so much of it the libs miss. They arent even aware of how badly he is fucking them. They will just suddenly wake up one day with an amazingly sore asshole, right where their power base used to be.

Your last line reminds me of what the gal said to Matthew Modine in "Vision Quest".  "They'll drop something in your drink, and you'll wake up with an asshole the size of the Lincoln Tunnel".

I do believe that Trump tweets a lot of stuff to either take the left off task, or to be his opening salvo in negotiations or various debates.

Like congratulating Putin.  He said that mostly to get the left to spazz out, but also to soften up Putin a bit for negotiations.  The joke about the Chinese dictator, same thing.  The left doesn't even notice that they fell for the same gag twice.
