"Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell trails Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes by 4 percentage points in this year's U.S. Senate race, 46-42, according to the latest Bluegrass Poll of registered statewide voters.

And, according to the poll, McConnell's biggest problem may be himself — only 27 percent of Kentuckians hold a favorable opinion of the five-term incumbent, while 50 percent said they had an unfavorable view. And only 43 percent of conservatives, who McConnell is courting heavily, said they had a favorable opinion of him.

Moreover, McConnell's job-approval rating in Kentucky is worse than President Barack Obama's, despite the fact that the president is wildly unpopular here, losing the state overwhelmingly in 2008 and 2012. Sixty percent of Kentuckians said they disapprove of the jobs Obama and McConnell are doing, but they gave Obama a slightly higher approval rating — 34 percent to 32 percent for McConnell.

Meanwhile, Republican Matt Bevin, who trails McConnell by a 55 percent to 29 percent margin in the primary race among registered Republicans, does almost as well as McConnell in a general election match-up against Grimes. The poll found that Grimes leads him by 5 percentage points — 43 percent to 38 percent."

So.. When a poll/story shows something favorable to Conservatives, such as this: http://conservativepoliticalforum.com/political-discussion-and-debate/anti-establishment-ben-sasse-surges-to-virtual-tie-in-nebraska-senate-primary/

it's worthy of inclusion in this room, but when it doesn't, it's not worthy of inclusion?

No, your incessant need to post nonsense polls so far out from an election.
If it were an occasional poll, then fine, but you're flooding the forum with this nonsense, and it's beginning to look like a purposeful distraction from far more important issues.

What I'm posting is directly relevant to the GOP's prospects of denying Obama control of the Senate. If the poll is nonsense, demonstrate how.

Any road as it stands now I think McConnell will win based simply on Grimes has a thin record and people are not very comfortable with change. It's not  always enough to vote someone out simply because they are part of the establishment...
