It's good to see a good and humble man like this receive the honor he deserves for ending a terrorist attack that could have been much worse. 4 minute standing ovation

Billy's bayonet

Good for him, he had to overcome the stupidist SOP for gaining access to his weapon, locked in a drawer indeed. This should be a wake up call to revamp their security.

A splendid, splendid find!  Canadians are, after all, a decent people who recognize valor when it's rendered.

Vickers began this daily march as House of Commons protocol dictates...and in the comments to this clip, Brad Parr remarks:
QuoteI think the best part of this is that there's nothing out of the normal.  Parliament resumes, starting the sitting exactly as it always has.  The message: You won't stop us, you won't make us change.

This exemplifies the Canadian spirit. You won't stop us, you won't make us change.

One wonders how many of those standing and applauding voted for gun control.

On a liberal forum a Muslim posted in his title, "Canada traumatized by "terrorist" attack in Ottawa"
That's not what I saw. I saw Canadians taking care of business, putting down a rabid animal inspired by Muslim hate, then going about business as usual.

Surprised they didn't claim "Canada traumatized by senseless killing of religious man who was having a psychological problem".

There's a fairly amusing story out there now, that has Harper hiding in a closet, with all the reps breaking flagpoles into spears.  I swear, I'm not making it up, and it's not The Onion.  Come to think of it.....another reason to laugh at their gun control.  Can't protect their PM except for home made spears.

There's a photo of Vickers carrying a giant golden swizzle stick of some sort.  I was hoping he had beat the guy to death with it.

Canadiens and non-cartelized Mexicans are good people.  Sad that corruption and socialism has them down and nearly out.  Aussies / New Zealanders / Brits ditto.
