Chris Matthews is just as insane as Olbermann is.  Matthew's pink slip is also forthcoming, I'm sure.  His rants may not be as bombastic and over-the-top as Olbermann's, but Matthews is still just as incendiary and radically left wing.

Quote(CNN) - Prime-time host Keith   Olbermann, who was suspended for violating the ethics policy of his   employer, will be back on air Tuesday night, the president of MSNBC said   Sunday.
Olbermann was suspended Friday after a news report by Politico   revealed he had donated to three Democrats seeking federal office.

Presumed chain of events....

FRIDAY = Olber-less-than-a-man suspended

SATURDAY = Leftist frenzy. Other MSNBC on-air personnel threaten on-air sympathy strike.

SUNDAY = Fearing the network would go under if it lost even one of its few advertisers, MSNBC caves.

MSNBC's chief executive Phil Griffin said late Sunday that after several days of deliberation, he had determined that two days off the air was "an appropriate punishment for his violation of our policy."

Actual chain of events:

Friday:  Olbermann suspended.  Rachel Maddow has unprotected "sympathy sex" with Olbermann in the janitor's closet at 30 Rock.

Saturday:  Chris Matthews gives Olbermann sympathy "man sex" and gets tingles up and down his legs.

Sunday:  After undergoing a battery of electro-shock treatments, Olbermann is declared fit and ready to resume his "duties" as the world's most insane and incendiary network-sponsored politicial cockroach.

That pretty much says it all, they are looking for a reason they lost so badly during the mid terms, that they're turning on each other.

So the Liberals do really eat their own.....hmmmm

Olbermann commands a pitiful 1.1 share for his time slot. Comcast will probably wipe the whole crew out and restart from scratch. MSNBC itself tried numerous formats before succumbing to Howard Beale TV. Any new direction, minus Olbermann, would definitely be an improvement.

Since the people have spoken and shown the extreme left to be unfavorable, maybe they will reconsider their own position.

If Olbermann wasn't so extreme in general, I don't think MSNBC would have cared if he had made political contributions. It's their ratings that made them take actions.

With Zucker gone, that path is now much-better-defined --- at least for Keithie-poo. His sports gig went bust, and the Howard Beale comparisons were beginning to seriously take hold in the trade pubs and fan outlets. In his program tonight, he is expected to apologize to his viewers, but not to MSNBC.

Perhaps he'll wear a wet raincoat and scream, "I am here to testify!"

Dan Rather fully expected to get serious offers after CBS fired him. Can't help thinking of that, and how Geraldo Rivera bounced back after being tossed out of a country by the U.S. military, after drawing troop positions on-camera.

I mean, look how long Saturday Night Embalmed has lasted. TV is a strange world.

They say he's been suspended indefinitely....what's the difference between that and fired?
