JUSTICE FOR BROWN?
There has been another upsurge is the politics of racial disharmony that the President, the US Attorney General and the Democratic governor of Missouri have been engaged in pushing.   Over the past several days numerous members of the black community and liberals have been touting the fact that justice was not provided to Brown who was killed by Officer Wilson since Officer Wilson was not indicted for his death. The allegations of a number of supposed witnesses were that the officer shot Brown for no reason in the back while he was attempting to surrender.  As a response to this some other them are rioting and calling for a Federal indictment of the officer.   Holder indicating his intent to a continuation of a Federal Civil Rights investigation with what evidence has been released by the grand jury is a travesty of justice.

Let's just go over some of the facts.   Prior to the incident Brown committed a strong armed robbery using his imposing physical size and aggressive conduct that was documented on video tape. In Missouri this is classified as a violent felony.

When later confronted by the officer and killed both physical injuries to the officer, forensic evidence of blood, powder residue and DNA inside the car and on the officer and eye witness testimony prove beyond any doubt that an initial assault against the officer by Brown occurred and that it happened inside the police car despite bogus testimony to the contrary.

Despite allegations of some purported witnesses, whose testimony was completely refuted by the autopsy and the testimony of six or seven other African American witnesses, Brown was not shot in the back, but was shot in the front. Several witnesses also confirmed the officer's account that the suspect was charging at him when shot. Audio captured on a video conference also substantiated the officer's account of pausing before firing additional shots. Some of these phony witnesses changed their testimony when confronted with these facts and several even admitted they had not even seen the incident. Numerous African Americans lied in their teeth about what had occurred. It is apparent that they had originally committed perjury in an attempt to falsely claim the officer had wrongly shot Brown.

Brown was clearly the aggressor, had committed the felony of strong armed robbery and the additional felony of battery on a law enforcement officer. Forensic evidence and testimony all show him to be the aggressor. There is ZERO credible evidence supporting the original allegations.

So my question to the black community is just exactly what kind of justice does Brown really deserve? Was the officer supposed to run and hide when it became clear Brown had committed the crime and became aggressive when stopped? Guess what? Officers have zero duty to retreat from the resistance of a suspect to their arrest for a crime. If they made a practice of that type of conduct our society simply would no longer be safe from the depredations of the criminals among us. Excuse me, but Brown was obviously and incontrovertibly one of those criminals

Another fact is that despite complaints about the small black ethnic makeup of the Ferguson Police Department the fact is that the majority of blacks do not want to become police officers.   As the author of one of the first EEOC approved Affirmative Action Plans in South Florida I can speak with some experience about the difficulty is getting any, much less well qualified, black police candidates to apply.   Whether this is due to peer pressure in the black community or just that most blacks simply do not see this as a good career I do not know, but it is a fact.   Check with any large police department and you will find exactly the same situation with the difficulty of recruiting blacks.   This is true even though many departments lowered their entrance standards to get more black candidates or were ordered by courts to accept unqualified candidates.   The facts speak for themselves and wishful thinking about getting more black police officers in most police agencies is an unrealistic goal until the attitudes in the black community radically change
Trying to find an intelligent and logical Progressive is akin to the ancient search by Diogenes' for an honest man.

This is the wrong case for their agitation.

They will say that you shouldn't kill someone because they are walking in the middle of the street.

Or because he "shoplifted" from a store.  No matter that Brown was willing to beat the snot out of the clerk.

Or because he said bad things to a police officer, saying that the officer was too much of a pu**y to shoot him.

Or because he PUNCHED a police officer in the face.

Or that he pushed the car door closed of the police vehicle.

Or that he struggled for the police officer's gun.

The police officer should have just let Brown go and wait for backup (except it goes against police training).

The police officer commanded him to stop and get on the ground, which wasn't complied with.

Brown instead turned around facing the officer and went toward him.

The officer stated that Brown reached toward the waistband of his shorts, thereby making the police officer think he may be armed.

The officer REALLY had NO REASON to consider this thug a danger to his life.

Just the everyday actions of an "unarmed black teenager."  An honor student, just waiting to enroll in college.

This is the star they are hitching their wagon to.  Dumb and Dumber on display.

:ttoung:  Gotta love the hypocrisy of the Browns and their lawyers pushing something called Micheal's Law, which is supposed to force police to wear surveillance-cams... while looters nearby are molesting photographers for filming them.

It goes along with an excellent column posted at PJMedia today by David P. Goldman, entitled "How Far Down Do You Define Deviancy In Ferguson?" Here's a snip, but the whole thing is worth reading:

QuoteTwo generations ago the NAACP chose Rosa Parks as the subject of its anti-segregation lawsuit in Montgomery, AL, because she was a woman of unexceptionable character and reputation. Today the NAACP and its allies have chosen Michael Brown as their poster-boy, precisely because he was a violent criminal. The argument of what now might be termed a "criminals' rights movement" is that the police should not have the right to use force against felons whose crimes do not reach a certain threshold. What that threshold might be seems clear from the repeated characterization of Brown as an "unarmed black teenager." Unless violent felons use deadly weapons, it appears, the police should not be allowed to use force.

Officer Darren Wilson had never fired his service weapon before.

He had SIX YEARS of racist hating on the police force to wait for poor, gentle giant, Michael Brown to come along.

Officer Wilson had nothing better to do (after leaving a medical call of a 6 month old baby in distress) than to pick on poor Michael Brown.

Michael Brown, who had just stolen cigars after intimidating a much smaller store clerk.  Probably going to use the cigars to smoke some more dope with (toxicology reports found marijuana in his system).

Never fired his service weapon, mama.  Just waiting for your baby boy to come walking down the street, pull his gun, and kill him for no reason other than he's a racist.

Give me a break, mama to Michael Brown.  As a mother, I can only imagine how it feels to lose your son.  But you lose my sympathy when you blame someone who was just trying to do their job that day when your baby boy punched him and tried to take his gun.  And no, his conscience shouldn't bother him since he did nothing wrong.  Your baby boy was the one who did wrong.

But, you will continue to try to persecute Officer Wilson, with your race baiting lawyers.  See if there's any money to be made for all of you.  While Officer Wilson will live with this day for the rest of his life.  And more days, as he lives in fear of discovery and retaliation.

Okay, I'll try to make this as simple and easy to understand as possible.

How not to get shot dead by a cop.

1) Do what the man or woman with the gun tells you to do.

2) There is no 2.
