Two new voting laws I would be in favor of.

Mr King

I have a suggestion of two new voting laws that I would be in favor of and think they would be great for this country.

1- Raise the voting age from 18 to 21. There are too many people at 18 who do not know what they are talking about nor do they understand our laws and way of life and religion and politics. They are easily mislead, angry and full of rage against anything and anyone who disagrees with them. They burn cars, loot, pillage, murder, throw bottles and rocks and use mace sprays against anyone who believes differently. The majority in my opinion at age 18 are way too immature to vote and need time to cool down and work in the real world before voting at age of 21. The only people I would allow to vote at age 18 are those who joins the military.

2- You have to pass the drug test in order to vote. I think many democrats would fail the drug test including liberal teachers and liberal college professors and those who refuse to work for many workplaces require drug tests. Why should they have the right to vote if they don't work and do drugs?

If we did anything, we need to return to the day when only landowners were allowed to vote.
One other point of contention for me, is govt employees being allowed to vote, they have a vested interest in growing govt and should not be allowed to participate.
But like all things leftist, you can be assured they will fight to lower the voting age to 13.

21 is still too young. Too many idiots at that age.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

Age is not the determinator of sound thinking. Just look at the ages of the leaders of the democrat party.

I like the idea of being 21 before you can vote, exception being anyone serving in the Military.

That would mean 35 for anyone living in San Fransisco, Los Angeles, the Pacific northwest and the northeastern seaboard.

In the book 'Starship Troopers' by Robert Heinlein, civilians had to serve a term in the military to earn the vote. However, this was only earned after they were discharged from service, not during. Those on active duty were not allowed to vote, with the reasoning being that soldiers should not be given the option to vote against wars they themselves will have to fight in. It wld give the average Joes power over their own commander and chief. You cannot fight a war that way...

To your point, just make the entire public sector part of the military  (they wld earn their vote after they finished their gvt service) for essentially the same reason, that the public sector employees should not have the option to vote for or against slashing or growing their own salaries and departments. It would basically be like giving the public sector oversite of itself, and you cannot run a government (or a buisness) that way...

Receiving welfare should disqualify one voting.  You should also at the very least be a renter.

In general, with the exception of those select few Conservative minded youngsters, young people aren't "old enough to pay the rent" (trying to act like "grown folks").
