John Pilger - Iraq, Terrorism and 911 Lies
Just a 2.50 minute clip from documentary maker John Pilger. He has a view which would not be reported very often in the mainstream media.

Was wondering what the conservative opinion is on this ?

What a bunch of shit.  If the Muslims are the true victims of terrorism then why are they trying to take over the rest of the world.  If we are the terrorists then why are Liberals and this President bending over backwards to change who we are as a people to accommodate these people.  They don't accept our ways so why should we be forced to accept theirs here? 

What is your take on this video...just curious.  Do you think he is correct is assuming we attacked ourselves?

ok, say there is more human death then is reported. That does not take a rocket scientist to figure out. One would have to be pretty much blind to believe that innocent casualties are not  going on. The amount of, which he states---- ::) me thinks probably not but since I dont have the numbers,,I cannot say. Most would not report such things, because it is not what "people" in general want to hear. Now to equate that with Rowanda,,,sorry not buyin it. Genocide vs war is not in my eyes a basis for comparison. I could be wrong, but to me that is 2 different beasts. At 2minutes9 seconds into this clip.......it lost me. I pretty much dont buy that crap.  Nice find though,,,it does represent what some actually believe..... blame it on us,,, makes for good banter. ::)

Here' what he did for my generation:

"The Quiet Mutiny" in 1970 was the first of over 60 documentary films by Pilger. Filmed at Camp Snuffy, the film presented a character study of the common US soldier during the Vietnam War, revealing the shifting morale and open rebellion of Western troops. Pilger described the film as "something of a scoop" - it was the first documentary to show the open rebellion within the drafted ranks of the US military that led to the withdrawal of the land army in 1973.

We have soldiers in harm's way of this generation against what I consider a far more vicious and tenacious enemy.  He is anti war and from what I can tell not America's greatest admirer. 

If the numbers he cites are correct then that's just less of them who are able to attack us.  To be where they were they had to be sworn to that law, thus sworn to kill everyone else as a provisional duty.

I will sum it up in two words, "liberal Guilt".

The current USA empire stretches all around the globe. We have bases in Europe, Asia, Middle East and South America. We also have much financial muscle through the IMF and world bank and we have veto power at the United Nations. We're involved in two wars with Afghanistan and Iraq. The current United States Muslim population is well under 1 % of America. I doubt we have the moral high ground when it comes to taking over the world.

I do not think he is correct. Not saying its impossible, for our government as lied to us before to get us to go to war, but I don't think this was one of those times.

It is part and parcel to the debate, he feels guilt over what he considers an illegal war.
This is what is known as liberal guilt.
Keep in mind, it was based on information gleaned by Europe's intelligence, particularly France and the Clinton admin. and a UN resolution that found Iraq to be in violation of holding WMD, an admission later by Sadam that he wanted his enemies to believe he had.
