Is the late entry of Deval Patrick to flush Biden out of the primary?

Deval Patrick  will have Obama's support as they are personal friends.
Patrick will attract the black vote in South Carolina which will no longer be Joe Biden's rebound state.

Patrick and the Democrat strategists had to know this, so was his entry for himself or by request of party leaders?

They also didn't want an old, white billionaire named Michael Bloomberg. Having an old, white millionaire named Bernie Sanders, is bad enough for their image.

 So who is he suppose to be helping? I don't think he has any chance unless obama gets out full time to campaign for him? Are they getting ready for hillary?

Michelle?  Oprah?  The Cookie Monster?

The smell of desperation when they know their front runner is a crook who's days are numbered and all the rest of the pack is unelectable.  I love it!

As a Massachusetts resident I can tell you as a FACT that Governor Deval Patrick never attacked my 2A Rights like Governor RINO Romney and RINO Baker (currently Governor) have.

Deval is nothing like other black politicians (Maxine, Barack, Elijah, Kamala, Abrams).

He was always laid back, quiet, smiling and pleasant. No chip on his shoulder.

He rarely spoke, and when he did, it did not grate.

Hopefully he has not changed, though likely my faint praise now will seem like idiocy later.

And no, I won't vote for Deval. Not against the best president America has had in over a century.

Perhaps when he is trashed by the Far Left of his party, he'll join the BLEXIT Movement and support Trump!

I can't see that happening, although it would be welcome.

I don't think he has a path to run. That is why I question if he was not brought in to block Biden out by taking the black vote. Deval Patrick did spend time in SC and is thought of positely by Democrats here. Remember that almost 60% of registered Democrats are black in SC and they are 27% of the total population. That is why Biden felt so confident in SC.

I wan't really thinking if Patrick could win and his late entry makes that difficult. If I was Biden then I would be saying "oh shit".

Who do you see as benefiting the most with him in?

Although it probably ain't gonna happen, if the Far Left Marxist Wing makes it so more traditional Liberals aren't welcome in their New Party (coincidentally, Obama was endorced by the Marxist "New Party" when he first ran for the Illinois State Senate, but I digress)...If  the Democrat Part moves too far to the Left, some Liberal Democrats who aren't America hating, Marxist, nut jobs, may find they are welcome in the GOP.  That's exactly what is happening with the BLEXIT Movement.

Gabbard isn't electable against Trump.  Don't get me wrong.  I like her.  With some reconditioning, Hell.she'd make a decent Republican.  Perhaps in 2024, Nikki Haley will convince her to become a Republican and join her as VP.

America ?

The other Dems are Socialist imbeciles.

Deval is a reasonable guy, whose sole agenda is padding his wallet.

At least that has been his track record in Massachusetts.

Deval just gave his first interview.

It was notable for being calm, and only mildly critical of his fellow dems.

And no direct mention of President Trump.

He may be just the ticket for the many Americans that are looking for a reasoned candidate who does not seem interested in shaking things up.

If he continues to focus on making American better in his speeches, and lays off the fruitless Never-Trump BS, he will appeal to many.

But he's running as a dem. As we have seen that ain't exactly what the dims are looking for.
