The lack of money is a huge issue for the democrats. They did it to themselves in that they went all in for the far left. As liberal as some of their big money donors are they are successful because they believe in capitalism. They see the democrat party now has to go off the deep left end just to appease their new base. The base is made up of "takers" and that is not a recipe for success.

The way they have handled the Conyers/Franken scandal may bite them in the ass.
