I long ago stop putting any credence in any of these BS polls the media first whips up, and then touts to the high heavens. ESPECIALLY when I have no idea of the sampling parameters or the questions asked.

Extremists don't like polls that conflict with their preconceived notions.  It's one of their character flaws.

Typically of liberals you used a generalization meant to convey exactly what you mean. Those that aren't sympathetic to your view are by default, extremists.
