Just imagine how high support would be if those unionized government workers weren't bankrupting the states!

It'd probably be 150%! Maybe 200%!

As usual you dont know what your talking about...you just run your mouth because of your envy of state workers

Blaming state workers for deficits isnt working no one believes that they are the sole cause of the debt...
Gov Walker is a moron the people of wisconsin know he cut taxs for the rich and corporations in that state MORE than what hes recouping from state workers...this will backfire..
Arpad I fully realize you believe your a genius on every subject known to mankind in your own mind...and you like to just make any idle statements that fit your fancy...
Just like your idle statement unions are declining...thats garbage theres less union workers because there are less workers in the USA overall.....the republicans love illegal immigrant workers that they can work like lackies for peanuts and they love to run to china to employee our enemies for profit....

Who knows if it is skewered or not? I still wonder how many of the people polled even know what collective bargaining means?

Let me ask you this Zip.
What if this were a private business?

We all know there is no way private industry could exist under these rules, and we are a Capitalist Nation, so why are we allowing public employees to have benefits the private cector only dreams of?
You do realize Unions are the ones that started the escalate cost increases in the health care industry, right?

So I ask again, why do we not either force them to take a pay cut, or start laying them off?
Or can't you see the bigger issue here, were broke, there just isn't any money left to continue their pampered lifestyle.

Like I said :) if your still in denial..

Actually, it sounds as though many in WI are still in denial. If they havent the money, they havent the money.

I have been out of work due to an injury. We have been a 1 income household and so we sucked up and managed well. Tis a good thing I didnt buy one of those huge homes with a jumbo mortgage... !! We would have had to take BK! Instead, we kept things simple living in a nice, modest 2000 sq ft, heated and cooled home. WI hasnt been playing by similar rules. Everything I read, leads me to believe that state is BROKE.

Why do public employees need collective bargaining? Why arent they thankful to have a job in this depressing economy?

Who is in denial?  :o   I am in denial? Perhaps it is those who do not understand they are in a broke state?

I don't know what I'm talking about? Then why don't you provide an opposing view instead of trying, pathetically and valuelessly, to throw your weight around?

In case you haven't noticed, it's not working.

It turns out that the same tactic, throwing your weight around, isn't working all that well in Wisconsin or in any of the other states that elected representatives who understand that we're on the brink of financial disaster and that it'll take forceful measures to pull us back.

That's what Walker's doing and the only poll that counts has already been tallied up which is why Walker's in the gubernatorial mansion and his opponent's not. If the people of Wisonsin have changed their minds and now want to continue rushing towards the cliff well, sorry, some choices have to be made carefully because it's tough to unchoose.

By the way you tiresome dickhead, it looks like I'm no longer beneath your contempt.

Not that I ever gave much a shit about your regard, one way or the other, for me but you'll understand it's pretty gratifying to rub your nose in the hollowness of your threats and promises. If you want to know who's been ignoring who it's been me ignoring you since you're a lousier writer then Souix Rebel and not as entertainingly loony as Rytis. There's just not that much reason to read your posts.

TO answer your question there should be REASONABLE cuts and lay some off theres too many state workers in alot of cases...no one would have a problem with that, but thats not what they are doing

Scott Walker, spent 6 million of his own money to get a 130,000 job and the only two things he does is give HIMSELF and all other rich wisc's a tax cut and attackes the working class...its obviously already begun to backfire.

No one believes govt workers are the cause of our crushing debt...it was wall street, the bankers, the corporations who want to employ our enemies in china for more profit and Bush and Obama....govt workers contribute but are way down on the totem poll of cause...public workers are being used as pawns so the rich can have MOAR AND MOAR and Ill say it again its going to BACKFIRE...long time loyal republican supporters from the working class are saying "F" the teaparty...me included...If chris christie or walker or any other teaparty candidate like them run against obama...Im voting for obama...and im getting Dozens upon dozens of emails from retirees I know saying the same thing....its quite obivous what thier doing to us working class..

Boy do you have this issue so convoluted, you have lost grasp of its real premise.
This is not a Federal issue, this is a State issue, the State has no way of staying afloat if they don't make cuts, and drastic ones at that.

The Tea party has absolutely nothing to do with this issue, and furthermore, you are clueless as to what the Party stands for.
Do this one little thing, go to a local meeting and listen, you will be shocked to find out that most are just like you, they see out of control spending and lining the pockets of rich and empowered.

But it is comments like that one, that made me believe you watch or read liberal news, or your friends are outright lying to you about the Tea Party, I am a Tea Party member, and I can assure you, you are flat wrong about us.

I dont have it convoluted Im aware that states are in trouble..I refuse the attacks that its state workers that are the cause of the debt...they contribute they are NOT the main cause...

So tell me solar AGAIN im going to ask this...scott walker gave himself a tax cut along with the richest in wisc and corporations...then attacked the workers viciously...and what he takes off the workers wont pay for his tax cut...lol...and I have this convoluted...please dont waste your breath that the tax cuts are good for everyone...they are only good for the rich and not going to help wisc' debt one iota...its a scam....public workers are being used as scapegoats being blamed for the debt while the rich get MOAR and MOAR and christie who is using them to get national notoriety.....your not going to change my mind solar....I was forced into this position...and I made a decision. I will do what the rich does...vote for whoever is going to do something for my kids...I dont need anything

WoodBurner

Both political parties got we the people into this fiscal mess because we were lazy sheep. All entitlement programs are broke and the federal government is 14+ trillion in dept.

I believe times will get harder before they get better if this country is to get out of hock.

Hopefully we are now awake and no longer sheep.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
If it was easy everyone would be do'in it.

Tax cuts?
Think about that one for a moment, what are taxes used for?
You would think they could be used wisely, but they aren't, they are wasted.
Who pays the taxes, the poor?
Hell No!!! The rich!
So giving a tax cut to those paying the majority of the debt for wasted programs seems to make sense.
What you call middle class workers is pretty much a fantasy, these workers are making 20% to 40% more than the private sector, in many cases twice as much, so to call them middle class is really pushing it, these are privileged workers, they are a protected class, they have it set for life once they retire.

The average private sector worker doesn't have it so good, most pay for their own medical and their income is based on inflation rates.
The gov worker gets a raise regardless of what the economy is doing, or how much money is coming in from taxes.

Why can't you get it through your head that everyone has to participate?
If you are an employee of a business and the owner can't make budget because the economy is hurting, will you be willing to take a pay cut to help save the company and possibly your job?

That is what is happening in Wis. and dozens of other States, the employees, or rather Unions aren't willing to take a pay cut, in fact they still want a COLA increase.

I noticed you simply ignore the point of my posts about the Tea party, try staying on topic.
