I watched quite a bit of the snooze fest yesterday. The democrats should hope nobody watches it. The House managers showed they are nothing but partisan political hacks. Trump's legal team stood head and shoulder above the managers. The democrats really need to hide Nadler. Based on what I saw yesterday, I believe the RINO's may have enough cover to go with the majority on witnesses.

On another small matter. Many democrats were crowing about Mitch's concession on scheduling. Whoopee! He gave them the sleeves from his vest.

Do you actually expect me to read that entire thing? Well I read the beginning part you posted and there isnt any proof, just the guys leftist opinion that misdemeanors meant the public trust. He doesnt back this up. All he does is site a bunch of lesser impeachments which I dont consider to inform how a presidential impeachment should go. If there is something else in that enormous article then please quote it here, but I havent seen anything to prove that a misdemeanor doesnt have to be a crime, unless you are simply referring to a time when the govt got to just make up things to take people to court for, but we are America and nobody can just make stuff up. According to you High crimes and misdemeanors can mean whatever congress says and that is extremely unamerican. You still need a crime to impeach.

Eh. Being that according to the Constitution a crime doesn't even have to be committed for someone to be impeached, I wouldn't hold the Senate trial to those standards.

Again, Hearsay would not be admissible, nor rise to the level of Misdemeanor.. The term Misdemeanor applies generally to a civil servant or military, where one takes an oath and breaks it.
Hearsay does not have any standing in any legal proceeding, EVER!.

Ya I figured you would go MW like libbies often do, acting like a dictionary is a book of rules when it is actually a report on usage. I looked at MW before I even answered you the last time and yes, that article itself still supports my position(tho the headline is misleading).
