If you're Christian and support Trump, tell me why.

I simply cannot comprehend how the Christians, those who say they follow Christ's teachings, to be able to tolerate - much less support - Trump's behavior of demeaning others.

He mocked McCain's service to our country and all the American POWs for that matter, especially when he's never put himself in harms way to protect others' lives!! He disparaged Megyn Kelly for asking him hard questions. He mocked Fiorina for how she looks. He mocked a reporter for his physical disability ... What would Jesus say to that?!

Most Christians who support Trump don't seem to care how Trump's behavior/mannerism doesn't reflect Christian values. They don't care that Trump said that he has never asked forgiveness from God ... Isn't asking forgiveness for our sins (as we're all sinners) an essential part of the Christian faith??

If you call yourself a Christian, what Jesus taught us should have priority over anything else at all in your life. If you're compromising your faith because somehow you think Trump will give you what you want "in this life", that's selling your soul to the devil.

But then, he is bashing Trump, so what to do?

1) Jesus called some "snakes" and worse
2) Kellys questions to Trump were designed to TAKE HIM OUT. I agree with his boycott
3) We're electing a president, not a saint to lead a theocracy.

Nor can I understand how someone who calls themselves a conservative could vote for trump. The only reason I have heard personally  from trump supporters is over that "wall" he is going to build, nothing else seems to matter. On the plus side, one issue candidates do not last long.

WTH since when did the United States become a theocracy?

If anything our Constitutional Republic is now a corporatocracy, and fast approaching an outright dictatorship.

As for Donald's boycott. As (God in heaven I can't believe I"m about to say this) Jeb Bush was right, when he stated that Donald Trump, if elected, is going to face alot worse than just one little Megyn Kelly.

American President's are subject to some of the worst criticism of any free leader.

(It's in part what makes America so great btw)

So what is Trump going to do, when it's a world leader, he's "negotiating" or "making deals" with and they hit him with a tough question or two of their own.

Hmmm?

Get mad, go storming off to pout and boycott that nation too?

While yes, Trump is right about immigration.

This "boycott" because he's mad at Megyn Kelly and Fox news won't give in to his whims.

Is not only childish, but seriously displays a serious lack of mental stability that the POTUS really does need to have.

One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

Reagan refused to deal with Gorby and won.

Kelly was tasked with TAKING OUT TRUMP. Regardless of what you think of him, Fox News was dead wrong. Trump is right to boycott. This will earn him points. I know that bothers everyone, but some of you need a dose of reality and understand how this is playing out in the real world.

And back to the OPs original question, Jesus wasn't the liberal "nice guy" you believe he was. He was blunt. I think the OP would have hated the real Jesus.

If you are a Christian, particularly if you are a Catholic, as I am, how can you vote for a Democrat with their unabashed promulgation of abortion and their evil Planned parenthood vehicle which not only murders unborn but desecrates their bodies by selling them.

Yet the democrats enjoy Supreme support from the Catholic church as his Holiness, the Pope, apparently just made clear.

Christians supporting Trump over a Godless Commie like Bernie and a complete fiend like Hillary isn't to hard to grasp.

Just dawned on me he's looking for Trump SUPPORTERS. I doubt there are any here. Some may settle if he's the nominee, but no supporters.

First of all I hope that they don't move this because it is so relevant to this election.  I don't bash or even worry about other people's religions but the Evangelists are Born Again Christians.  That requires a certain belief that we are all sinners and need to ask for forgiveness.  I do know Catholics don't support abortion and if you have watched to video Trump himself had said he would not stop partial birth abortion and that he is full pro choice.  So the argument that we should pull the lever on that reason does not hold Holy water.

The real question should be, when you have Cruz in the mix, why would you vote for someone like Trump if you call yourself "Christian"?
