Here is my prediction:
If Robert "Beto" O'Rourke defeats Ted Cruz in this year's Senate race,
O'Rourke WILL be the Democrats' nominee for President of the United States!
And would have a very strong chance of actually becoming President!

This fits the Democrats' pattern.
In 1990, who outside of Arkansas had ever heard of Bill Clinton?
In June of 2004, who outside of Chicago had ever heard of "Barack Obama"?
(His legal name is STILL Barry Soetoro!  He STILL has never changed it back!)

The Democrats have all of Hollywood's expertise at MANUFACTURING CELEBRITIES !
O'Rourke is a perfect fit in the Democrats' mold!

He appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on September 12, 2018.
The appearance can be seen online at:

O'Rourke has A LOT of charisma!
He is EXTREMELY APPEALING to the sort of voters
who know nothing of any issues, but are easily seduced.

O'Rourke appeared on the Colbert show,
boasting of how he's accepted no money from outside Texas,
WHILE HE WAS IN NEW YORK CITY TO SPEAK AT A FUNDRAISER!

Yes!  O'Rourke is THAT BRAZEN of a liar!
Which is the one quality that always rockets politicians
the most quickly to the top of the Democratic Party!

Also during the episode,
Colbert showed the mug shot
from when O'Rourke was arrested for drunk driving.

Colbert ridiculed the Cruz campaign
for being stupid enough to tweet out the photo,
because the Cruz campaign was publicizing how handsome O'Rourke is!

While on the show, O'Rourke spouted all the usual Democrat platitudes
of all the freebies he's going to give away to all the people.
In other words, this "fresh, new candidate"
is just like thousands of other candidates the Dems put up every election.
He's just another fresh, new packaging of
the same, old false promises of something for nothing
the Dems have been spewing for a couple of lifetimes.

Six years ago, while Obama won re-election,
Ted Cruz won Texas by 16 points.
This year, the race looks really close.

The Democrat Party planners know very well how high the stakes are in this race.
They're the ones who are planning it all!
Our side needs to realize how much is at stake,
and expose the fact that the Dems are pulling their same, old stunts,
hiding the same old poison pills in yet another shiny, new object!

I can't see Cruz losing to this clown. I watched the debate. Beto has no grasp of the issues and only knows talking points. He makes Obama look brilliant.

That scenario is pure fantasy.

I was thinking more in terms of "nightmare."

I would be horrified if O'Rourke defeated Cruz,
but poll numbers are moving in the right direction lately.

Still, it bothers me that Cruz is leading by less than 16 points,
which was his margin of victory six years ago.

With a lot of Dem's moving to his state over the last six years, that 16 points looks great by way of thinking.

Its also just polling. Like hillaries landslide, wendy davis's winning the governorship, ect.. Even if the polls were close to being right, Abbott has long enough coattails to pull his party across the finish line.

Beto not doing so good

The left will do anything to break the red wave in Texas but putting up a candidate like Beto is not the way to do it. I'm confident this guy will not prevail and win against a proven conservative like Cruz.
