I like the look, but it seems to take up half the page. Is that what is wanted or is that too large?

Taxed wanted to do away with the diamond plate border so it will fit better.

Well, I deliberately sized it to fit the entire header for this reason (and you guys let me know what you think):  This form is set to 80% and SMF uses a background png image (main_block.png) which fills the header.  If you don't completely cover that png image with the logo, then you have portions of main_block.png sticking out on both sides of the logo and it looks pretty messy.  In other words, the header is going to be the same size, whether the logo is smaller or not, so the idea was to fill that area with the logo.  What I can do is shrink the logo and put it on a faux background or a white background to make it look smaller but still cover up the main_block.png.

Unless it's edited out in the CSS file, it fills the entire header. 

I'll shrink the logo and try it on a plain background and see if that works better for you.

Can you remove the border and shrink it to fit in the upper Right hand corner, taking the place of what used to be our logo?

I guess I never got to see what your logo looked like before.  I shrank this and moved it to the top right corner.  Of course, the blue beneath the image can be white or any color you like.  Also, you're seeing this with the flag and old board background that I have on my test site but it can just be the same gradient blue that you have here.

Hmmm....   remove all the background, return it to the gradient blue and make the background behind the smaller logo plain white, maybe?

Well, not with this particular image, it's been resized too much.  But if that's the exact size you want it, I can rebuild it with better lettering.
