Turns out it was Obama. A year ago he limited the amount of time you can receive PELL grants from 18 semesters to 12 per lifetime. I do not disagree with this change, but his claim that he increased PELL funding was a lie. He claimed that he had increased funding amounts, it currently sits at $5500 per semester, that is not an increase, it was $5500 while I was in college. I graduated in 2000. So, for the life of me, I can't figure out how he increased funding.

Just a guess........

I'm thinking that he raised the total amount of funding, but lowered the amount of semesters allotted, because it never was about education. They probably did a study, and found that 12 semesters of liberal indoctrination, was all it took to create democrat voters. Whether or not they graduate and get a job, is irrelevant.

In fact, it would probably be better if they don't. Not being able to finish college and get a job will be blamed on the rich, conservative establishment.................which wants to keep all of the money for themselves.
