So at this point you prefer the Marxist over Tulsi Gabbard? I get it, that's your choice, but why are you in favor of big govt as opposed to the individual?
You do know the Green New Deal is about usurping individual Rights in favor of an oppressive big govt, Right?

Well, in 2016 I liked Bernie and Kaisich.

So I already had an affinity for Sanders.

I saw this ad on YT featuring John McCain and it really got me on board

Don't quickly discount Tulsi Gabbard. She is a power to reckon with, though she doesn't get much attention from the media because she's a threat to their other choices, she is the only candidate that can bring back the moderate Dim.
At this point the Dim base consists of radicals. The moderates want nothing to do with the top three running, but if Gabbard gets a hold of the stage, all best are off.

I like Tulsi (still voting for Trump, tho).

Anyhow, I bought a Bumper Sticker from her official Web Site, and apparently enough people have donated so that she is still in the race.

I agree with some of her platform, and naively ignore the rest.

I admire that she had the balls to debate Tucker Carlson.

I hope Deval Patrick debates Tucker also.

They are still Liberal Dems, but not batshit crazy.

IMHO

Like I said, growing govt. McStain even admitted he wanted to "Grow" the VA with a 15 billion dollar Bill, one third was for doctors, but no mention of the 10 Billion that would expand a failed bureaucracy.
Trump is fixing the VA and I've seen the results up front and personal. McStain was against allowing Vets to see private doctors in their own areas. Trump fixed that, I can now choose any doctor I like, which saves me an entire day of driving time.

I ask again, why are you in favor of an overbearing, oppressive bloated govt? Our Founders gave us a Constitution designed to create gridlock so as to avoid all of this.

What polices and attributes of Bernie appeals to you? How will they help the country?

But McStain was one of the biggest liars in the GOP, hands down!
I believe Bernie is since about his beliefs, but unfortunately, they're antithetical to those of our Republic.
Why are you for growing govt instead of shrinking it?

That is so weak an answer. It seems to me you can't name a policy of Bernie's that motivates you.

I can, but there's no point in us getting into a back and forth about it.

I actually just took the political quiz on ISideWith.com and Bernie wasn't even one of the top guys that I should be siding with according to the site

It is clear you do not have an answer or embarrassed to state it. That type trolling will not last long here.

I still want to understand why you think it's a good idea to grow govt as opposed to shrinking it.

I'm indifferent about the size of government.

I'd like it to be as efficient and effective as possible, no matter the size

Your response is partly why I don't want to get into it. No matter what I say I'll be accused of trolling.

I've learned in my short time posting on conservative forums that it's best I avoid deep philosophical conversation. I end up getting banned. Lord forbid I start creating too many threads...

I just want to read your views, share mine and move one without too much arguing.

Have you ever read the Federalist Papers? They were written so the common man could understand exactly what kind of govt our Founders had created.
They knew the bigger govt became, the less Freedoms and Liberties the people would have.
They knew the private sector should handle virtually everything with the exception protecting States Rights, that was the only job entrusted to govt, all from watching other bloated govts come and go through civill wars.
The more you empower govt the worse things get for the common man, because regardless of the intent of politicians, the rich will find a way of corrupting said intentions.
Always follow the money! Also read the papers I mentioned, it'll give you a better understanding of what you want from govt and why you shouldn't have it.

Not to worry, I have watched your posts and know you are not trolling. It is good for the forum to have our ideas challenged, it forces people out of their bubble to think, just like I'm challenging you to think outside your bubble as well.
