I seriously doubt this wishful thinking will come true.  Why? FCC has too many liberal regulations in play with the alphabet news companies to abide by.  Also, you do know the FCC is managed by that Clyburn lady. (Rep. Jim Clyburn(daughter) of South Carolina)
And he is very socialistic so I am sure she has to be following in Daddy's foot steps.

Another point~ The Republicans do own the purse strings so they could easily cut back funding thru the FCC. If so, perhaps Comcast (which loves $ and wants as much as it can get) may end up trying to compete with Fox News.


I say the above bc I read some time ago that the fed govt issues out fed funds to the alphabet news (not cable news) so strings are attached with those funds. The article lead me to believe this is one of the reason's the MSM has a liberal slant. NPR is not the only case of fed funds spent on news organizations.
