Title: I didn't expect this out of Missouri
Post by: JustKari on February 14, 2013, 11:37:42 AM
Democrats lay out bill much like Feinstiens gun bill.  Citizens would have 90 days to comply or become felons.

Yup, let's not talk about the elephant in the room (crime and recidivism), let's make a whole new crop of criminals...way to go libs.  You can't even enforce the laws you have already written, so let's make more.  I hope your warm fuzzies were worth the nations freedom.

The reps are probably all from St. Louis or KC. The rest of Missouri is pretty rural and fairly conservative. Being a little lazy today, I will just ask if the MO legislature is majority dem?

In other words the criminals have 90 days to plan the biggest crime spree in modern history.

That's good.  The cost of living has been rising too much in blue states, so MO may be a nice change for them.

I was lazy too, I liked on wiki, it looks like the leaders of both house and senate are pubs.

"I was lazy too, I liked on wiki, it looks like the leaders of both house and senate are pubs."

That equates to, "this will never be passed". Do these clowns think the thugs in St. Louis that have these weapons will follow the law? It just confirms that libs do not care about the ultimate outcome if they can pass something that makes them feel better and they can rant they did something.

But in a few years ever time someone is shot they can and will say see it the rep. who allowed this to happen. Libs are calculated in what they do, even if they don't like each other they stick to their DNC talking points where the reps just spew hatred towards each other.

They need to be TARGETED for removal! They're all up for reelection  in 2 years. This anti-American view cannot be tolerated--not from Representatives who took an OATH to uphold the Constitution.

There are other bills being proposed in MO that are the exact opposite:

As far as this ridiculous weapon ban, I think Rep Burlison (R-Springfield) said it best in reference to the bill becoming law: "The bill's sponsor has a better chance of being the next Pope,"

Unfortunately, far too many Republican legislators believe they can make Libs - and their allies, the media - love them. Why they should care is beyond me, but they do. That's the reasoning behind an enormous number of the really stupid things they do.

I agree with mdgiles, but more so on the Washington level. We have some legislators in NC that are true conservatives and proud of it. Our new pub gov in NC has all the libs going crazy. He had the audacity to state liberal arts emphasis in the state universities needs to be reassessed. His point is we need to educate folks to prepare themselves for the real world.

Yeah, what the Hell is going on in Missouri?

I heard on the car radio this AM, that the University of Missouri will be cutting back on homework and tests during Wiccan and Pagan holidays.

Couldn't find anything immediately, but eventually I found this:

No Mayans in Missouri?  No accomodation for the Throw-a-Virgin-in-the-Volcano guys?
