Title: I'm very disappointed with the Marxist GOP over the tax bill

QuotePresident Trump is not the problem with this bill.  I have zero doubt that he wanted much more. He wanted to get some relief to the people and get a win under his belt, so in that sense I'm happy. He got these stubborn Marxists together to at least get something done against their will.  As minuscule as the cuts are in this bill, the President has impressed me yet again and this bill is a cherry on top of an impressive array of first year pro-business and pro-American accomplishments.

It is a start. Much more should be done, but the baseline has been moved. Trump forced the RINO's in the senate to pass what was passed.

I wonder if this is the begining of a move toward a flat tax?

Yes, that and the "post card" tax form.  Still not sure if I like "flat" or "fair" more.  Fair has the utility of shutting the communists up by continuing just a little of the "punish-the-rich" scheme.  I don't like that as a general rule, but we've been doing t for 100 years, so we may as well do a small version of it to throw in the commies' faces as we debate things.

Trump, being a big-picture negotiator, got what he could in phase 1, with several more phases planned.

FairTax doesn't punish the rich...
