Under the guise of protecting the Country?

The investigative arm of the Homeland Security Department appears to be shutting down websites that facilitate copyright infringement.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has seized dozens of domain names over the past few days, according to TorrentFreak.

ICE appears to be targeting sites that help Internet users download copyrighted music, as well as sites that sell bootleg goods, such as fake designer handbags.

The sites are replaced with a note from the government: "This domain named has been seized by ICE, Homeland Security Investigations."

Typical. The federal government has NO authority to regulate the internet. Congress is just not willing to get THAT ball rolling. So, true to form, Obama does it through some administrative agency. It's the same cheap trick they want to do with CO2 through the EPA.

Why the ICE? What does it matter which agency breaks the law? Would we be better off if Obama used the Transportation Safety Board or the Army Corps of Engineers?

This is a cheap back door approach to regulation, and I hope he gets sued over this.
What next, gun regulation?
This is one more thing that will split the Dims further apart, for that, I am happy.

This is a really slippery slope.  This is nothing more than a "test balloon" that will lead to the Obamanistas targeting right-leaning websites and websites that are dedicated to exposing the Obamanistas.

What hussein is doing is protecting the source of his campaign contributions i.e., the music, fashion and entertainment industries. They share ownership of Obama with George Soros and the labor unions.

I agree SS, but that is only part of it, if they can get away with this, they will move on to bigger and better fish.
Like AF said, Rightwing sites are on the hit list if they can find anything they consider illegal, like maybe hate speech?
