How President Trump can stop the border invasion without spending a dime

The United States Constitution specifically describes a national self-defense system that can be activated by the government to "repel invasions," which is exactly what's happening right now.

Our border is being overrun with, by some estimates, 100,000+ new illegal immigrants per month. This will flood the country with over one million illegals per year, all while Democrats are granting them voting rights so they can out-vote real American citizens (and overtake the country).

Trump can stop this. He simply needs to activate the national defense system described in Article 8 of the Constitution. Immediately, tens of thousands of volunteers would flock to the border to defend America against this ongoing invasion.

His argument is for smaller govt, not the militia. I'm pro militia, and the militia is on the border, but Trump is about to shock the left by closing the border because we can't absorb 600 people a day.
But if you want to hurt the militia in the eyes of the Nation, just watch what the media would do if people open fire on a bunch of unarmed illegals.
The last thing we want is to garner sympathy for the invaders.

That's the thing. The left is already standing on sympathy for the invaders. But seem to have only disdain for at least half of our citizens - the half that mostly work and pay their taxes. Yeah ... the left is truly dumb. They will do anything to control power. That's what this is all about.

But I understand your point, Solar. We want to do what is reasonable to avoid additional sympathy to the invaders. What a mess.

I agree with Solar ... close the border. Turn them back toward their country of origin. It will have to be treated like a riot - or worse if the illegals start shooting. It will be a train wreck, but it's already a train wreck. Its just that the left doesn't want to admit it - they are in denial, or at least act like they are.

After the border is closed, the mess will be unavoidable and the government (Dims and RINOs) will increase their ire for Trump, but will have to start clearing the wreck. So they hate him more than they already do - inconsequential. What else can Trump do amidst this hoard of illegals that continues to escalate? I see no other viable options.

Yep, close the border and the mess Mexico created, sits firmly in their lap. Their newly elected socialist President may not see a second term if he doesn't get his shit together and stop this bull shit..

Which brings up a very good idea.

Note that closing the Mexico border has much more impact on the fragile Mexico economy than it does on the U.S.

What if Trump spoke to El Presidente (whoever is Mexico's president) and tells him to police his border. That if our immigration system see the illegal crossings diminish and eventually stop, we will keep the border open. I'd give them a week to show progress, and agree on metrics to hit over the next six months to resolve the problem.

Actually, it's probably not such a great idea. If it were feasible and he had any care of his people, El Presidente would already be working this with Trump and his staff. Conclusion: El Presidente either doesn't care or is powerless to do anything about it. 

So it still seems we have to shut it down to the detriment of many US and Mexican people (legals) while we figure out how to change our laws and secure the southern border from the illegals.
