Title: How Meg Whitman Screwed Up California Gov Race
Post by: wizard on November 04, 2010, 10:33:36 AM

Sorry, Meg, That Campaign Was a Waste of Your Money! (http://newsblaze.com/story/20101104070726holl.nb/topstory.html)

Lack of preparation and lack of good advice. Definitely not lack of money!

I'm sure Whitman has a bottomless pit full of money, based on the fees that e-Bay and PayPal charge their customers.

Interesting, it's all her fault? NOT!!!
No mention of a million illegals voting, or the fact that every paper (liberal I might add) was against Boxer.
No, it wasn't totally Whitman's fault, it was theft by the leftists in this State, pure and simple.

Even the local  RadioTalk Show hosts (Armstrong and Getty) commented that whomever was advising her was doing a crappy job. :( :( :(

Solar, the days of newspapers having any significant clout in elections are GONE.

The most liberal newspaper in the northeast (next to the Boston Globe), and the largest newspaper in Maine, the Portland Press-Herald, endorsed BOTH Republican candidates for the U.S. House in Maine, and BOTH of them got destroyed by the Democrat incumbents.  All of the major Maine newspapers endorsed the Republican House candidates, and they both got smoked.

In my book if the "California" newspapers are for it I am against it....most of the time. :) :) :)

Not out here, the La Times, SF Chronicle and Sac Bee, are papers that local media quote on a daily basis.
But that is beside the point, the point is, not even the libs wanted her in office, which leaves one option, corruption.

It is more than West Coast corruption, Ca is extremely important, had it fallen to the Right, the message would have been far more damaging than losing one seat.
No, there were outside influence, I bet you will find Soros dirty little prints all over our election.

Not a single doubt in my mind. This state is toast now. Brown and the lunatic invirowhackos, with the help of the fraudulent AB32, will put the last financial nail in the coffin called California. The only bright spot is the insane left will have to suffer right along with the rest of us in figuring out how to pay utilities and put gas in their car. Only then will they awaken to the nightmare they have created. What the union fails to realize is that without the revenue from the productive it will spell the end to many union jobs.No money means cutbacks, and that puts them in the unemployment line with the rest of Californians trying to find jobs that don't exist. The union has done a fine job manipulating members that can't grasp the concept that private enterprise is what generates the revenue to fund their paychecks.

Absolutely Indy.
IF anything good comes out of this, it will be watching the leftists fail, and knowing they are merely speeding up their own demise.
We will only get our State back that much sooner.

Once the money drys up, the leftists will no longer have any pull in the State, in turn withering on the vine.

We are headed for bankruptcy, the only thing keeping people from leaving is the Jarvis Ghann amendment "prop 13", keeps the State from raising property taxes, only local gov can by a vote of the people.

But if the libs steal that one, all bets are off and we will leave in droves.

I keep looking for that earthquake that will knock the California coastline off into the ocean.  (Something my Midwest sisters keep telling me will happen.)

That will leave mostly "normal" ones in the state at that point. :) :)

I would recommend moving AWAY from large cities, industrialized areas, any areas hear the southern U.S. border, and any areas that have year-round warm weather climates.

That would leave states like Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, the Dakotas, Minnesota, and New Hampshire.

Think safety and security and isolation.

Nope, I prefer the colder dryer climate of the high mountains.
Like Montana, or Idaho, not to mention, the further South you go, the more illegals.
The more illegals, the more stupidity you find from the leftists protecting them.

Alaska may be in the plans, ST said whatever I decide, she will happily follow.

Katrina kind of slapped a hurt on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Admittedly Rita and Ike did their numbers on SE Texas where I live, but hell, Florida can catch them from all directions.

My wife's nephew, wife and seven children live in Fredricksburg, Tx. Nice country. Tad cold for my old bones. I have a nephew that lives in Austin and a brother that lives in Denton.

I, at one time, had thought about building a home on my property in East Texas, but decided being where there are good hospitals is a must. Recently sold the property before the Capital Gains Tax goes up.

Oh, and Zip. If you ever get around San Antone again, visit the National Museum of The Pacific War at Fredricksburg. Take a couple of days. Damned sure worth the trip.
