I haven't seen anything that tells us how CNN obtained the information about the Reddit user. Does anyone know how they did? Was Reddit complicit? How did they get the information?
Ted is already bitch slapping CNN. Looks like they're in a little pickle now: http://therightscoop.com/ted-cruz-cnn-may-have-just-committed-a-crime/
I saw this after I posted this (CPF) thread: http://therightscoop.com/turns-out-cnn-may-have-targeted-the-wrong-guy/
This is where I was going... not only was I curious if Reddit was complicit, but how do they know if they got the right guy?
Quoteturns out that CNN may have targeted the wrong guy in the Trump wrestling tweet mania scandalgate!
Buzzfeed unpacks this whole thing with screenshots galore, pointing out that HanA**holeSolo's original gif was actually a different size, crop, and was completely soundless. In fact it was a gif, not the video that Trump tweeted.
No idea but we also have to ask "why"? Scary stuff. They're acting like Soviet era state media.
This has started a whole genre of anti CNN "homemade" vids......you can't shut people up nowadays like they want. I propose somebody make a video game, they'd get rich overnight.

Thanks for kicking up a 3 year old article to post that, SoS.
long ago, before most could read or write, there was a saying that the scribe had the power...whatever happened, or whatever was said, whoever reported it had the power to shape the story as he saw fit...
in the pre internet/pre digital modern era, the media still had the power...bernie goldberg, in his book bias, did an outstanding job of explaining of how the AP works, and how most all media outlet get their news...and how the editors at the AP can shape a story to their liking....he gives countless examples in his book.
the internet era, cell phones with cameras/videos, blogs etc have completely ripped out the power from the media, and has shifted it to the people on the scene...it is extraordinarily difficult for the mainstream media to accept that they were once in complete control, and they have lost that control to a teenager with a cell phone video, or a persons ability to do their own research...someone will post the actual pics of trayvon, or the actual call and not the NBC edited version.
Yes, there is also much garbage info...but overall, the access to information has completely blown away the medias control and power and it is driving them nuts...
there is a reason people living in the ussr, or cuba or n. korea or china were not allowed shortwave radios, or ham radios, or the internet or the ability to travel freely...the state needed to control all information.
