Fellow Conservative:
This is Congressman Jim Jordan, co-founder of the House Freedom Caucus and chairman of the House Freedom Fund.
The House Freedom Caucus recently called for the cancellation of the traditional month-long congressional recess this August and urged that Congress stay in session to accomplish the priorities of the American people. Our position is simple: No results, no vacation.
Do you agree?
If so, please sign the national petition urging Congress to stay in session this August to finish the people's work.

We've made promises to repeal Obamacare, reform the tax code, defund Planned Parenthood, and to secure our borders.
Now it's time to get them done.
We can't drag our feet on conservative reforms and then pretend we don't have time to do them. If Congress doesn't produce results, then it should not go on a month-long recess. It's that simple.

I signed the petition, but only about 600 had by that time. I hope I was just early.

If I recall it was over 700 when I signed.
I just signed ... says 1099. I checked after signing and it didn't move. Might be railed there.

Yeah, I got the same one.
It's pathetic when we have to petition the congress to actually work.

Seems fruitless, considering they campaigned on promising to kill Commiecare, and now we have to petition them to keep their word?
I say, either recall the bastards or....replace them come midterm, Hell, they lied after all!
Ya know, I've lived by a code, that my word was my bond and to break my word was akin to stealing.
I don't steal either.

We have to look at it from a positive standpoint. It is progress as it reflects the folks are paying more attention now. Most of Washington hates this fact. Every day that goes by I am more and more grateful for the "Freedom Caucus". Can you imagine what GOPe is saying about them in private? These few conservatives are showing real courage.
We the people will not control Member of Congress (MOC) until we control there paychecks. That will not happen in my life time. Congress tells us what their going to do and we have no say. Remove their 100% control and you now have people that's are accountable.
Congress makes unions look good.

I get their message, I really do, I just find it sad that the American public needs to be reminded of just how big a divide there is within the party, that the leadership as well as the RNC are nothing more than hardcore leftists.
I still think the Commies brainwashing at the Hanoi Hilton of McStain was 100% effective, and to think, nearly half the party aligns with his leftist beliefs.

It is a shame McCain is considered a mainstream republican.

Not really surprising when you consider it was the LSM that labeled him the "Maverick".
Looking back at those days, they were trying to prop up the leftist because they knew quite well who and what he was, yes, he was one of them.
