I am not proud of this but maybe I didn't do a good enough job myself.
I know of at least two people, a friends GF and her family and son of a friend. Both used to be hardcore righties but I couldn't get these people to vote for Romney.
The two reasons thrown right in my face. The son of a very good friend is a college student. Even though dad isn't poor he made it himself, his boy has to pay college tuition his self and hates it. Dad lets him use whatever vehicle is laying around, he lives in one of dad's rentals for free, he does have to pay utilities. He thinks it is the worse thing in the world that he should have to pay for school. He will talk for hours how the government should pay for his school and he is convinced beyond any doubt Obama will forgive his student loans. He was afraid if Romney won he would have to pay for his schooling.
The other a friends G-Friend, as long as I've known her she has voted republican and hated leaches. Well when her daughter who is 30 came home pregnant and dad threw her under the bus it all changed, suddenly Romney was going to cut off medicaid, food stamps and her housing subsidy.
This is how we will get the 47% to 50 plus % and the conservatives may never win again.

I agree, all this talk about remaking the Republican Party is just that ..Talk.

So long as folks can vote themselves goodies from the government we (conservatives) are toast. I have to hand it to the Democrats they have done an excellent job of convincing folks they need the government to stay above water.

My largest concern is down the road a while when we as a nation can no longer sustain the present spending levels. I have to wonder how the democrats will spin the disaster as a Republican screw up. I was reading the other night that there are thousands of folks out there who are second and third generation recipients of one form or another of government hand outs. None of them have ever held a job and most never plan to do so. Sad commentary on the Great Society.

LOL, I don't care if the libs stay in the WH forever, it'll still come down to "it's those nasty conservative's fault, hiding all that money from us"!  Or this, "We could have gotten this or that passed if the cons had got on board"!

Somewhere in all of the sure-to-come- confusion, i hope that the term "executive order" will be lost or better yet-outlawed.

My answer to these mostley young folks who voted for the Marxist solely for the reason of "free college money" is:

What happens when you graduate from college and you want a job that
doesn't involve making french fries?

You arent going to be getting a decent paying job commessurate with your college tenure unless you are lucky, connected or
are some sort of privledged minority and then you are probably going to get an entry level job which means the company will dump you the moment the economy turns rocky.

Typical teen twenty something, don't think about the impact on your long range future...think about NOW!

And yes I know one idiot who is otherwise a pretty decent kid who voted for Obamao solely based on her "free college tuition", And she is no slouch, she works two jobs and even has a little business going on the side selling stuff on ebay.

Evil operates best when it is disguised for what it truly is.

These people really are dumb. "Education" aka brainwashing, doesn't mean intelligent.

Rush said recently, HALF in jest, that the reason Romney lost because they believed he was "going to put America back to work."  The problem is, there's some truth to that. I sure hope 4/8 years of this Destroyer in the White House hasn't turned us all into wards of the State, expecting to be taken care of by the Obama White House.  These people SHOULD be mad as hell at Obama for stripping them of their pride and dignity, but they're happy with a few crumbs from "the master."
