The law requires that we act in the best interest in the child," Johnson said. "When we turn over a child to HHS, HHS acts in the best interest of the child which very often means reuniting that child with the parent in the United States. That's what the law requires. "

Wanna bet the complete extended families will come as well?

Of course they will, that was Obungler, and the Dimorats, plan in the first place.

A thought; every single, solitary one of those kids should be handed over to foster care by anyone who wants them. No reuniting with their family anywhere within the borders of the US.

I have different sympathies and these are with millions of aborted babies that won't get to know where their place in America was, never to have had an opportunity here because they were hated enough to be murdered by their parents with the backing of our government.

Send the children home and let whoever spawned them take care of them-period.  We can't "make-up" for killing millions of our babies.  America needs to clean up our own act and quit thinking we can solve the world's crappy cultural and environmental issues.

This is why it was such a terrible thing when Obamao began taking the law into his own hands and making all those people who were brought here illegally as children citizens.

THE PARENTS SHOULD BE PUNISHED...otherwise every 3rd world schmuck will be trying to smuggle "his" kid here as a future hedge for a green card.

This is an absolute no-brainer.

You are not supposed to object to ANYTHING labeled as "for the children."  This struggle came also with trying to limit welfare benefits when they kept churning out so many children.  There was some debate at capping at at no more than 2, 3, 4, or whatever.  No incentive to quit having kids they could not afford.

Oh, the outcry.  "You can 't do this to innocent children."  Well, get ready to hear this again.  Of course we need to allow the parents here.

Couldn't have plotted a better way to collapse the economy, social systems, etc. of this country.  They will say no to sending their kids back to where they came.  If one of our children was missing, they would struggle to reunite.  If you're in Wyoming and your kid makes it to New York, they would send the child back to Wyoming, not bring YOU to New York.

I haven't been this upset in a long time about an issue than of these children herded into this country illegally.

I agree, DaisyJane.

How much would a flight home cost?  $400/$500 each (commercial)?  As opposed to a lifetime of "aid"?

I had a thought...how come other countries set up refugee camps and make people not look forward to landing in the country they were seeking?  I say refugee camps should be set up right inside the US border in Arizona and Texas.  Humanitarian groups could go to them (personal charity which is overwhelming in this country when taxes are low) to help them.  And as far as them crossing the border, I don't think it'd be that hard for our border control to stand man-to-man in half mile distances with radio contact to keep people out.

I live in California and I can tell you a lot about the differences in our "border security" versus what I and others have had to go through to have permission (for a day) to work in Mexico.

And if Mexico let these people through their country (remember they are not arriving by air or by ship) then they should be responsible for them.  I understand that we don't have agreements with these other countries but ultimately for us they are coming from Mexico and therefore they should be responsible.

Just my 5 cents.

The `rats are pretty smart. Bring the kids first, then the voters (parents).  :cursing:
