Here's RINO/Establishment/Trumpcare

This is what our future will look like if the gop'E Marxists get their way.

There’s a horrific case over in the U.K. that hasn’t gotten a ton of attention here, but it should. If we look closely, we may see our future — and our present.

Charlie Gard is a 10-month-old baby who suffers from a rare genetic disorder called mitochondrial DNA depletion syndrome. It’s a horrendous condition that leads to organ malfunction, brain damage, and other symptoms. The hospital that had been treating the boy, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, made the determination that nothing more can be done for him and he must be taken off of life support. He should “die with dignity,” they said. The parents, Chris Gard and Connie Yates, disagreed.

This is the very crucial thing to understand: they are not insisting that GOSH be forced to keep Charlie on life support. Rather, they want to take him out of the hospital and to America to undergo a form of experimental therapy that a doctor here had already agreed to administer. Chris and Connie raised over $1.6 million to fund this last ditch effort to save their child’s life. All they needed the British hospital to do was release their child into their care, which doesn’t seem like a terribly burdensome request. They would then leave the country and try their luck with treatment here. However slim the chance of success may have been, it was better than just sitting by and watching their baby die.

Here’s where things get truly insane and barbaric. The hospital refused to give Charlie back to his parents. The matter ended up in the courts, and, finally, in the last several hours, the European Court of “Human Rights” ruled that the parents should be barred from taking their son to the United States for treatment. According to the “human rights” court, it is Charlie’s human right that he expire in his hospital bed in London. The parents are not allowed to try and save his life. It is “in his best interest” to simply die, they ruled.

European Court Rules to Euthanize 10-month-old Charlie Gard

The life of 10-month-old Charlie Gard hangs in the balance as doctors determine when he will die.

On Tuesday, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) refused a London couple the right to seek a possible life-saving treatment in the United States for their son, ruling instead for the termination of life-support.

Charlie was born with Mitochondrial DNA Depletion Syndrome, a rare genetic condition causing progressive muscle weakness and brain damage. After discovering a possible treatment and an American doctor willing to perform a trial therapy for their son, Chris Gard and Connie Yates raised over $1.6 million in donations from around the world in the hope of saving their son. However, specialists at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, where Charlie was being treated, felt the experimental therapy would not be beneficial and refused his parents their natural right to have him treated elsewhere.

In a legal battle that ensued for nearly four months, judges continually ruled in favor of the hospital’s decision, leading the couple finally to the ECHR. After consideration of the case, the European Court judge refused to intervene. The devastated couple, merely wanting life for their son, at no expense to the hospital, was refused.

In an on-line statement, the hospital explained:

Charlie is a terminally ill child with an exceptionally low quality of life. Our priority at Great Ormond Street Hospital must always be to protect the best interests of the child.

We work extremely hard to deliver the best possible care for all the children entrusted to us and use pioneering treatments, wherever possible. In Charlie’s case, we explored the request to use a therapy that had not been used before and sought independent medical opinions on what would represent the best possible treatment for Charlie.

The medical and legal consensus, confirmed by today’s ruling, is that it is in Charlie’s best interests to be allowed to die with dignity.

Are you saying there is another kind of hospital available to them in England?
If they had said that they wanted to cross the border to Germany for treatment, would that have been acceptable, or is this SOP in Europe as a face saving measure for their failed socialized system?

Noooo, you can't go to the US, they might cure him.

Trump offered to help a terminally ill baby named Charlie Gard

After the Pope and President Trump made statements about the fate of little Charlie Gard, the famous Hospital of the Vatican is requesting that Charlie Gard be allowed to be transported there. The European Court of Human Rights ruled against Gard’s parents who raised money to send their child to the United States for experimental therapy to treat his terminal illness.

The Bambino Gesù Hospital is owned by the Vatican and is located in Rome, Italy.

“We know that it is a desperate case and that there are no effective therapies,” said Mariella Enoc, the president of the hospital, “we are close to the parents in prayer and, if this is their desire, willing to take their child, for the time he has left to live.”

Enoc has asked the hospital’s health director to request Gard be allowed to be moved there from London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital. Gard was to be taken off life-supporting machines on Friday following the court’s decision, but that has been extended.

On Sunday, Pope Benedict called for the parents to be allowed to treat their son “until the end.”

The Vatican released a statement saying, “The Holy Father is following with affection and emotion the situation of little Charlie Gard and expresses his closeness to his parents. He is praying for them, in the hope that their desire to accompany and care for their own child until the end will be respected.”

This is just so bizzare.
Just think if the world held this attitude during WWII when NAZI Germany was slaughtering humans.
