He Fights
« on: January 03, 2018, 12:13:10 AM »
This article goes back a ways and I didn't see it posted here, using search?

I just couldn't let it go un-posted since it lays out Trumps differences so clearly, the differences which makes him unique among all the past failures.

Even though I differ with the author on Bush, Mitt, McCain .. (Author overlooks their faults), I agree with his point of view!

My Leftist friends (as well as many ardent #NeverTrumpers) constantly ask me if I’m not bothered by Donald Trump’s lack of decorum.  They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.”  Here’s my answer:

We Right-thinking people have tried dignity.  There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency.  We tried statesmanship.  Could there be another human being on this earth who so desperately prized “collegiality” as John McCain?  We tried propriety – has there been a nicer human being ever than Mitt Romney?  And the results were always the same.

This is because, while we were playing by the rules of dignity, collegiality and propriety, the Left has been, for the past 60 years, engaged in a knife fight where the only rules are those of Saul Alinsky and the Chicago mob.

I don’t find anything “dignified,” “collegial” or “proper” about Barack Obama’s lying about what went down on the streets of Ferguson in order to ramp up racial hatreds because racial hatreds serve the Democratic Party.  I don’t see anything “dignified” in lying about the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi and imprisoning an innocent filmmaker to cover your tracks.  I don’t see anything “statesman-like” in weaponizing the IRS to be used to destroy your political opponents and any dissent.  Yes, Obama was “articulate” and “polished” but in no way was he in the least bit “dignified,” “collegial” or “proper.” cont.

Of course decorum and manners are the new thing in post-Trump America, for the libs.  Despite giggling and fist-bumping for every low-life gutter act by Obama and his crew.

It's their only hope in slowing him down, though he couldn't care less about their whining.

It's how Trump beat the GOP, Hillary, and all their asses like a mule for the last year.

He's not gonna forfeit his whole winning method for a bunch of whiny bitches.

The "language" a culture/society employs, says volumes about who they are.
In the 2nd Century, Lucius Accius, a colleague of Cicero, told the Romans;
"Let them (Carthage) hate, as long as they fear." Then he sat down!
Abrupt and terse w/o collegiality or decorum, yet hardly a surprise
as he lacked the proper breeding only formal schooling imparts.
In fact, from Aristotle to Euclid to Pericles to Julius Caesar to Aurelius to Virgil;
naming but a few; the ancients lacked college degrees, those poor deprived souls.
But at least they managed to create Western Civilization.
Our culture is infected by pious platitudes and sanctimonious malarkey 24/7/365.
As a result our attitudes, behavior, psyche and temperament as a nation, reflects this and for the worse.
Imagine a moment, the Roman Senate debating matters such as:
transgendered Legions, the rights of immigrant Gauls and sanctuary villages in Sicily.
Rome endured for more than 12 centuries while we are a tad past 2!
And all the while, our bullshit level increases daily!

Meh, Obama as like a 13yr old punk, flipping the bird at Americans, Slow walking responses, creating straw men and destroying them as if he believe he was the smartest person in the room - and Americans were stupid & easily fooled by slick talk.  I read years ago, smoking too much Dope can stunt or delay your mental capacity to reason logically, leaving you "stuck" at the mental level.   It also makes you very, very paranoid - which might explain the efforts he went to, unmasking, spying on political enemies (who had nothing to do with him, whatsoever), and fear of people in authority (no matter what position you hold).

An interesting example is Obamacare, which the mandate was hardly thought through, as a TAX, easily unwound, and terribly unpopular - yet, he couldn't admit it was a bad idea.  Unable to articulate his position and win people over to his side on a whole host of issues, he gave up and used Executive Orders to haphazardly push an agenda - which looks more like political pandering than his real, heart felt positions.   For the multitude of unwinding President Trump has done of Obama's EO's, there's been hardly a whimper - he just didn't ever care, it wasn't his real position to begin with, just throwing his groupies a bone.
