Has Anyone Actually Read The Paris Climate Accord?
« on: June 07, 2018, 10:54:16 AM »
Here's the preface, and why AGW as a religion is dead.

Italics Mine...

Paris Agreement
The Parties to this Agreement,
Being Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change,
hereinafter referred to as “the Convention”,
Pursuant to the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action established by decision
1/CP.17 of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention at its seventeenth session,
In pursuit of the objective of the Convention, and being guided by its principles,

including the principle of equity and common but differentiated responsibilities and       (WTF does even mean?)
respective capabilities, in the light of different national circumstances,
Recognizing the need for an effective and progressive response to the urgent
threat of climate change on the basis of the best available scientific knowledge,
Also recognizing the specific needs and special circumstances of developing country
Parties, especially those that are particularly vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate
change, as provided for in the Convention,

Taking full account of the specific needs and special situations of the least
developed countries with regard to funding and transfer of technology,
Recognizing that Parties may be affected not only by climate change, but also by the                      <<<<< Here's the part about stealing money from producing countries US
impacts of the measures taken in response to it,
Emphasizing the intrinsic relationship that climate change actions, responses and
impacts have with equitable access to sustainable development and eradication of poverty,

Recognizing the fundamental priority of safeguarding food security and ending
hunger, and the particular vulnerabilities of food production systems to the adverse impacts
of climate change,
Taking into account the imperatives of a just transition of the workforce and the
creation of decent work and quality jobs in accordance with nationally defined development
priorities,
Acknowledging that climate change is a common concern of humankind, Parties
should, when taking action to address climate change, respect, promote and consider their
respective obligations on human rights, the right to health, the rights of indigenous peoples,
local communities, migrants, children, persons with disabilities and people in vulnerable
situations and the right to development, as well as gender equality, empowerment of,    <<< And there it is, the truth behind the scam, SJW, Marxists.
women and intergenerational equity
Recognizing the importance of the conservation and enhancement, as appropriate, of
sinks and reservoirs of the greenhouse gases referred to in the Convention,
Noting the importance of ensuring the integrity of all ecosystems, including oceans,
and the protection of biodiversity, recognized by some cultures as Mother Earth, and noting
the importance for some of the concept of “climate justice”, when taking action to address
climate change,
Affirming the importance of education, training, public awareness, public
participation, public access to information and cooperation at all levels on the matters
addressed in this Agreement,
Recognizing the importance of the engagements of all levels of government and
various actors, in accordance with respective national legislations of Parties, in addressing
climate change,

That was just the intro, but you can read the rest if you're an insomniac or masochist.

Oh, believe me, there's a whole lot more bullshit to come, but that was just a teaser.

Thank You Trump for telling them to take a flying leap.

This ties in well with that other thread about the leftist religion of scieticism. Remove God from your life and you still have a god-hole that needs to be filled. Many of these leftist sheep are just poor unfortunate souls who have been dupped by a false religion of hate.

Excellent point!

Solar ... thanks for digging this out. I'd not read any of it - just never took enough interest.

I can't believe what bullshit this is. Even if you did believe that global warming to be true due to the abuse of nature by men, why would you write such an abstruse piece of crap document to get a group of folks together to address how to change the climate for the better. Add to this that human impact of global warming is a lie, this is beyond waste - I wouldn't even wipe my arse with the document for fear of catching some liberal disease from the print itself - safer to use the JC Penny's catalog.

Most of what you posted doesn't even make sense when I read it. I must have wasted my money on the graduate engineering and math degrees - not that college make me "qualified" in any particular way, but after so much time spent understanding and applying abstract knowledge, I should certainly be able to read / comprehend a document written for a large group to understand and act on. I can't understand the words I read to mean anything coherent.

It has BO's fingerprints all over it. Eloquent bloviating without content. And I think he actually thinks that he's evolved above the common man - that we're just not "enlightened" enough to handle the truth of the direction the nation needs to go. Classic "progressive" Marxist think.

This was just a club where the members could siphon off US funds to influence other economies. It hardly even has a global warming face on it based on the posted excerpts. Another BO spigot on the US economy to pour funds out of us and try to equalize equity across the world. I truly think that was his goal - was to equalize economies globally. What a different president Trump is - he's striving to make America great and at the same time will cause the global markets to step up their game ... or lose out.

Yep, it also proves they know the AGW lie failed and needed to find another source of support, so they went after the Dim base, so to speak, or in this case, the Marxist base worldwide, the SJW.
Only the hardcore leftist fell for the whole SJW bull shit, the "Women Oppression" crap the leftist have been promoting in colleges globally.
It was their last chance to garner support for a tool that nations worldwide could use to kill off capitalism, because that's exactly what the Paris Accord is, a vessel in which producing countries could give their wealth to burgeoning Marxist States.

When one steps back and looks at the big picture, it's very obvious why the Marxist Hussein was swept into office, to kill off capitalism, "Fundamentally Change America", and the Clintons were all for it because they knew they'd make out like bandits selling out the country via the Clinton Foundation.
Thing is, Hillary helped put the Marxist in office, thinking he was laying the groundwork for her to steal the presidency, when in fact, once in office, the Marxist didn't need the insect Hillary and pushed her ass to the back of the bus.

Can you imagine the tirade? "I made You obama, without me, you'd still be a worthless Senator" Obama turned up his smug nose and said, I'll call you if I need you.

I digress. But the fact that they needed to add Social Justice to the contract, exposes its underlying purpose but also exposes just how desperate they've become, that they had to expose just who they really are.
Though I don't believe Obozo wanted to equalize markets, I believe he wanted to destroy capitalist countries so as to allow the seeds of Marxism to find ground to mature.

The way I understood it.  Bunch of crap, to get the USA, to pay & pay, for our sin of being capitalists ..Country's who pollute, like India, China, are not forced to pay to U.N.   Just another, made up issue, with which to get USA, to pay & pay some more.

Yes, that's all it ever was, but I think the latest accord exposes just how desperate the left is by including a Marxist agenda, knowing much of Europe will see it as a duty to support SWJ and Feminazi.
I'm surprised they haven't included the Muscum world of Sharia in it.
