Forty-eight years ago, on this date, in 1969 man took his first baby steps off Earth when Neil Armstrong planted his foot on the Moon's Sea  of Tranquility.

I remember it vividly, as if it happened yesterday. I was glued to the 19" B/W Zenith, Mom made all kinds of food up for the occasion so we wouldn't miss a second.
Can't believe it has been that long....
